Could you quickly cancel the reservation and just as quickly reserve again? That phone was sitting available for at least an hour on istocknow.
you can't cancel the reservation once it's confirmed.
I think the phone most likely was a return.
I wasn't at my computer for that hour before hand, I had just hopped back on and happened to see it.

Gotcha. I had a stroke of luck yesterday when checking stock and caught a black 256 Plus from a store 45 minutes away. Reserved and was nervous the whole way thinking it might have been a glitch with the way things have been going with this launch. Turned out to be there and I walked out a bit stunned. Happened so fast! First choice was the 128 but what's $4 more a month?
Its a McPick 2 for 2.50 from Mcdonalds plus 3 Soft baked cookies a month.... you ****ed up.

I preordered on 9/9 through Best Buy and got screwed over along with most of the other BB + preorders.
Just got off the phone with the store. They said they cannot edit a reservation, and that they are only doing same day reservations. It resets at 12:01 local time. Ah well, back to checking istock hopefully for next few days. Might be able to snag it for tomorrow, tonight at reset.

Haha funny enough I wouldn't line up overnight. I would need to know I have one waiting on ME. I can handle driving, but overnight lines nah.
Only reason I am willing to do it is because my current phone (6+) is literally crumbling apart in pieces (its 2 years old and I roughed it way up). It is also laggy and frequently dying at random percentages like 30%. It will stop being at a functional soon, and I'm not spending ~$200 to fix a phone that I was supposed to be able to replace Friday with my new PREORDERED 7 PLuS ARGfvhghgK1! Sorry, yeah I'm upset.
Not sure what this means regarding when stock is updated (if anything), but if you check istocknow every Apple store but 1 on the east coast is out of every 7 and 7+

I think this has to do with the fact that they are closed now, so there are no longer going to be any reservations today. Only west coast stores are left on the IUP reservation page, I think this has to be the reason why.

That's what I used. I just kept refreshing it. But regardless I don't think it matters what you used. As long as they have a phone kept aside for you, you don't really need to worry. They will let you buy it at full price.

Just to give a update on my process today. I had to wait a little bit past my reservation time, but got back and was worried they wouldn't have my 7+ in 128 as others had reservations on here and were told they had no phone. Well, the rep called back to have my phone brought out and not only did they have my phone, but they brought 2 out and said I had 2 reserved... I said that I only had 1 (on IUP and don't want a 2nd), and the rep said oh, "this must be mine then" with a wink.
Was done in probably 15 mins if that, even with buying a leather case and what not.

I'm thinking I'm going to try to reserve a 7+ if possible. I got the 7 at an At&t store on Friday so I have 14 days to return. Question , hopefully someone knows.. I used ATT Next plan to upgrade to the 7 I have now. (I had about $299 balance on my previous phone before I upgraded) If I wanted to return the 7 and sign up with IUP anyone know what would happen with ATT? Is it even possible to do that? I assume I would return my 7 and then I would still be responsible for the previous $299 balance on my Next. Then I could go sign up with Apple upgrade program?
When I chatted I was told it doesn't connect with your ATT plan or anything. It is apples own plan and whatnot. I said so if I have one on NEXT plan already can I still do this on that same number and was told yes...Not sure whether or not to believe it with it being online chat
Very interesting. If I have a balance on my Att Next I assume I still have to pay it off though or I wonder if I would still have to make monthly payments on a phone I don't even have anymore....hmmm

When I traded in my 6s for 7 Friday he said I had $299 balance for 6s. (I still had more payments to make I guess). I upgraded for Next 12 plan but I wonder if my balance is now $299 from previous 6s + new iphone 7 ... I may try to chat with ATT online.
