Apple.com 6/17 Online Reserve

Got a reservation in for an AT&T 256GB Black 7 Plus for today. I have 4 stores within about 20 miles from where I live.
 
Asking again before I leave for the store (already tried calling customer service, they are so busy the operator says to call back another time and hangs up)...

If I have an IUP order currently "preparing for shipment", can I still go up to the store and start a new order instead? I know I can't cancel the other order at this stage but would like to get the phone earlier if possible since I'm traveling for a week on Wednesday. Thanks in advance for the help.
 
Its 1:10 here and I can still go online and reserve the phone I want. So I assume the Plus model will not be hard to get much after the next few days..

You'll have to see what they say in store not really sure about this one... hope it works out let us know

heading to store, just spoke to rep. Made reservation thru the IUP, in process of buying house. Not needing any type of credit hit, right now. I am available for upgrade thru my carrier tho, since the phone is there for me, can we just upgrade thru my carrier ??? Att btw ??

My post got messed up. I don't want to pay in full, just enroll her in iup.

Yes. The rep saw I was on Next and asked if the new one was also going to be on Next. I declined and started a new IUP plan instead. Get more $ selling my 6s+ and paying the balance owed to AT&T than re-upping on Next :)
 
So I've seen everyone talking about paying for a Verizon phone in full without an account.

I assume this also works for Sprint?

I don't think you can do a carrier upgrade via the Apple Store... you can only pay in full, do the IUP or Apple Next I think..!
 
How does enrolling work? Being a college student, I don't have the best credit score, so I believe there isn't even a shot of me getting accepted by it?

Yes you can do next if there is no pending upgrade on that line.
 
I was able to get it :). It seemed like they had issues trying to not doe the IUP. They had to completely back out and just sell the phone outright.
 
I tried reserving last night. Almost all the states were grayed out up until 12:30 when I gave up. I want a phone now. Grrrrr

October 4-10 ship date range
 
This is what happens when my Apple Store is 5 miles or so from the Canadian border. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price until the store rep said they must have co-mingled stock with their Toronto brethren :)

It depends on what the previous order is and how you want to pay in store. If both are full price, there are no issues at all. Installment via carrier (like Next) then upgrading via next in store will have issues as you have to cancel the first one.

I will be careful on this as Sprint uses a whitelist.

If you are on Att and want a Verizon phone, can't you just tell them you will be switching...and then not switch and put your Att sim in the phone?
