cancelled pickups do not require verizon to cancel. it'll fall off anywhere from a couple hrs to a couple days. it was usually a couple hours for me.

For those who sold their UDPs without opening the box for the subsidized line the purchased on that UDP. After the UDP was taken over and you sold the phone. Did anyone have any issues with the phone being activated? Just want to make sure there were no hiccups. When entering the serial on apples website to check warranty coverage, there is an error saying that you can't check the coverage until after it has been activated.

Also, lets say I wanted to keep the phone but get a different color, would there be issues to have them exchange the phone since it is no longer tied to that phone number on your account (since it has been already assumed)?
 
I have an order with a new UDP plan AND UNLIMITED TEXT that I need to pick up tonight at the Apple store (2 hours away) I'm afraid I screwed up choosing the unlimited text and should have chosen pay as you go. Has anyone activated the phone successfully with unlimited text? Should I go or cancel. I hear lots of people are having issues when they scan the phones at the store. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yesterday we ordered an iPhone 6 plus, my wife went to the Apple Store to pick it up and there was some generic message to call Verizon, which she naively did (I wasn't there to stop her). Fortunately Verizon didn't see anything wrong on their end and told her to try again. She went back, tried again, and the Apple sales guy told her that the order was hers, but it was assigned to someone else's account :confused: I still don't get that.
Anyway, we canceled that order and now have a pending activation I want to get removed so we can try again.
First store pickup went off without a hitch, not sure what happened but I'm hoping it was a one time snafu.
Is her name the primary account holder or you?
 
I have an order ready to be picked up at Apple Store, but I can't pick up until Saturday. Does anyone know how long do they hold it for?
 
OK, now that I canceled I see I can go back in and re-order. I want to do this the right way so this time I should pick pay as you go texting since that is what I have now. One last thing I have heard rumors about is about selling the "new" ULD line. I have heard that when people have gone and AOL the line Verizon will dumb it down to a 2G plan and cancel the original UDP line. Is there any truth to this? Currently I have two lines:

Line 1: iPhone 4s (UDP)
Line 2: Dumb phone

Thanks. Not having much luck getting this added. I keep getting switched to sales, who says they will create a separate line with 2gb of data for $60 per month. That doesn't sound correct. What should I be asking for?

What's the pending activation from?

She called, again, after I suggested not to call, and got the pending activation taken off. Somehow I still have unlimited data. She's hell bent on getting a Gold IP6, placed an order, and is on her way to pick it up.
