There is a 2pm refresh, you can check again then. If not, then you have to wait for another or go with the iP6.

You simply cannot hesitate on the iP+ if you see one, get it.

learned my lesson the hard way lol

So I ordered an Iphone 6 64gb off of apple.com on Oct 11th and it gave me an estimated delivery date of Oct 30-November 4th. It is arriving on Friday, so around 2 weeks early. My closest Apple Store is 4 hours away. Do I just not turn it on for 2 weeks?

You can turn it on whenever you want and attempt activation. If it doesn't activate, so be it, but it won't botch your activation later just because you tried to activate early.

I just came back from the Apple store trying to get mine activated. 1st and foremost the employees were shocked I had a UDP on the line....they kept asking me how and I just played dumb :)

Secondly, they were baffled that it wouldn't activate. They were very careful not to do anything that would cause me to lose the UDP, and I was thankful for that. Anyway, I'm just going to wait the 5 days and try activating it a couple of times a day to see when and if it will finally activate.

Lol it's raining free UDP's today :)

You mentioned in an earlier post that they had an apple engineer on the line. Do you know what he said?

I've seen that a few times myself but I've only had to pay a deposit once. In any case there were no issues getting the new phone or new line

Btw I have an current order with that same message. I'll let you know how it goes

When you paid deposit, did you do it at the apple store? I'm not sure how it would be when I go to pick up mine and they ask for deposit.

Congrattttsss!

They were on the phone with the engineer and I wasn't next to them when they were talking. They just told me they were all baffled and could do a return/exchange but I would lose the UDP. I promptly told them no thanks and I'd wait for the activation window to open up. They completely understood and said if I had any issues I could just return the phone.

Thanks!!

Another thing to note is that paying a deposit isn't that bad of a thing, if you've got the money that is. As soon as you AOL the line to somebody else, you get the deposit back. It's not immediate, but you see it within the billing cycle; it's just a credit back on your bill. It's kind of Verizon saying "wow this guy has a lot of activity going on on his account all the sudden, we want to make sure we don't get screwed in the future, so let's charge a deposit as a safety net." Once you've been doing this stuff for a while like me, you won't run into deposits any more.

Just for the record, a return and exchange would work fine. You will get the unlimited data option in the store as well. I've done it! As long as the line shows the unlimited data option online, it will show the same in the store

Are you sure about that? Would I just have to ask them to let me choose?
