Ordered once the app store went up, and for the first time, not getting it launch day (unless shipping dates move up). 3:07 Eastern, 256 Silver, Nov 17-24. What sucks is I didn't notice the in store pickup on launch day option until I had clicked through, not wanting dates to slip. Oh well, here's to hoping I get it earlier than stated. I had a good run of launch day deliveries until now, so I can't complain (much ;))
 
Guess the apple care was worth it for the price of screen repair. I so wanted to go case-less but I don't think I can resist

Ok so the order status has been changed from order placed to order in progress
Now I just hope maybe that the dates will be earlier then the 17 of Nov.

I got mine it at 12:03. Enrolled this one in upgrade program. Took way too long. Got done at 12:08. Still says delivery on 3rd. Confirmation email 12:09. So once in process of buying time must not change. I wasn’t sure about this,but it seems so. 256GB Space Grey X!
 
So when I was submitting my order, I accidentally entered my email address incorrectly so it ended with ".con" instead of ".com", and I didn't save the order number. I never received an e-mail confirmation. Is there a way to change the e-mail address on the order--can I call in to Apple Support (whenever they start taking calls again) so I can get updates on my order?
 
Figured I'd get my story into the universe and vent once again about how ridiculous it is to have carriers involved in any of this process when paying full price outright for an iPhone directly from Apple.

Refreshed the app over and over, didn't finally let me in until around 3:07am Eastern. Already had the model I wanted favorited and ready to go (iPhone X Silver 256GB on Verizon paid in full). But then I ran into the "carrier verification" BS even though I was paying full price directly to Apple. I put in the phone/zip/SSN#, then was prompted for my Verizon PIN. I put in what I remembered it being, but it kept failing. I assumed the issue was Verizon's verification servers being overwhelmed. I tried on the website instead (took a while for that to come up). After repeating the same process and failing again, I then vaguely remembered I changed my Verizon PIN back in July when it was announced that they had been compromised. By time I got the correct PIN in and my order completed it was about 3:15am and the shipping had already slipped to 2-3 weeks. Ultimately my fault, sure I accept my slip in memory at 3 in the morning. Problem is, it should never have been a problem because having the carrier involved in this process at all is completely unnecessary. And my normal PIN would've been fine if they hadn't been compromised. /end rant.

That said, it could've been worse, and I'm hoping that as with other launches in the past (such as Apple Watch S0 that said I wouldn't get it for several weeks but it still delivered day one) the 2-3 week quota is being over cautious and it will still come sooner.

Anyone know how to change the shipping address? My boyfriend is an IUP member and his shipping address got pulled from the account rather than his Apple Pay address that he thought it would go to... any suggestions welcome! Thanks!
 
At&T site has an asterisk that said date subject to change.
I'm guessing ur gonna get an updated email from At&T with a later ship date.

Yes AT&T does that a lot. They put delivery as launch date and than give people the real delivery date later when they figure it out ☹️
 
I am scheduled for Nov. 10-17 delivery, but the order status just changed to “Order in Progress.” Hope for a earlier delivery date?

What was your status before? I have the same scheduled delivery date.

Edit: mine just changed to “order in progress” too. That’s a good sign! What’s the next step? Preparing to ship?
 
Ordered about 12:13am (store was down until then for my area). Showing Nov 17-24 delivery (128gb Grey).
