I'm hoping mine flips... I love tracking my order straight from China with Flight Aware.
It's written Silver and that's a reference, after that it's everybody's opinion what they think it is
So agree with you on this. It actually slowed the process more in my eyes. Mine app wouldn't even open on my phone. No phone next Friday for me, but at least I have one coming in November.
Mine says the same, you might not get release day but defiently before the estimate, Apple estimates are usually delivered before those dates

To those having to wait past Nov 3rd; at least we’ll have time for apps to be updated. I’d imagine most non updated apps will look funny on the screen within the first week or so.
If you have been watching your app updates, lots of them are already updated for the X

I have never successfully done this. I just rely on UPS My Choice
Can’t remember the order number process, because I think you had to take some numbers or something - but - you can track using the phone numbers with no dashes.
Got my silver 256 model last night at 3:05AM EST. Moved to prepared to shipping a few minutes ago. Didn't think I was going to get lucky this year and get launch day but it ended up working out. 
Never mind... ask and I shall receive
How do you do that tracking of the flight from China ?
They had a month and a half head start. Most major apps will be ready to go and lots of updates will likely trickle out over next week.
I have UPS My Choice and it's awesome. As soon as a label is created for your address you get an alert via the app shortly thereafter.

I think you are the only person to have a t-mobile delivery of 11/3.
correct, i was already an IUP member on my 13th month, so was able to get pre-approved earlier this week, which was really nice. i literally opened the app last night and it just said "continue your preorder" - was beyond simple and fast. i had issues last year as a first-time IUP ordering a Jet Black 7+ on launch day - was quoted at 3-4 weeks delivery with that, though it ended up arriving in about 2!
Preparing to Ship: it'll probably stay in that status until next week, and yet, I'll still check obsessively.

I managed to order an iPhone X lastnight (with with the T-Mobile GSM model as I cant sim-free). Delivery time was 2-3 weeks but it was available for pickup at my local Apple Store on Nov 3rd so I went with that option instead. I just had to select my check-in window, so went with 7pm. Is there any risk that the phone will be out of stock when I get to the store, or is the pick-up guaranteed? I got an order confirmation e-mail, its current status is 'Order in Progress' and shows my check-in time.
