hi guys hopefully im in the right place, ordered the iphone x last night its in the preparing for shipment mode, just curious if anyone has had some experience with this and whats the best method. So i went through att next and it automatically put the billing address as the shipping address but thats not the right address. Online it wont let me change it and i cant get through on the phone, online it says they dont make changes when ordered this way but no one is at the house on the billing address it unfortunatley caught fire and is just vacant right now. Would they make the change or would my luck be better calling whichever company they use for shipping?

ordered at 3:03est nov 3rd US - preparing to ship. Do this every year IUP came through. Never had a launch day delivery before.
Yes. Orders have changed to processing, but will not switch shipped to store until next week. Most likely starting on Thursday.
How fast did you get your order in. The App store on my iPad didn't load until 3:03.
Yeah, I did a chat with Apple. I ended up having to give up my reservation and order through my carrier. So that now knocks me back 5-6 weeks past my original spot.
Nice to see some familiar faces/names from pasts years. For those with dates after the release date of 11/3 you will more than likely...unless something goes horribly wrong...will receive their phones before the estimated date given. This has been true for past phones (happened to me atleast 3 times) and I'm sure the same will be true this go around.

On this forum you are the only person to have a t-mobile delivery date of Nov 3.
That debunks a lot of the theories floating around here.

Once our orders move to processing and we should start seeing some movement to 'preparing for shipment' over the weekend since release date Sept 22th.
Once this happens we should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin

If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.
Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, log in, and find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices.

Yeah..i'm hoping my Apple one ships first, LOL. I was at the mall today and stopped in at the Apple store for "advice" and the rep told me if I got a sooner delivery date with ATT to cancel the Apple order..buuuuuut since att is saying i have a launch day phone IF i get it i'm just going to sell it on e-bay LMAO. Has anyone done this before? Technically..I can pay the ATT next loan off in full and keep the profits of the phone sold on ebay and then just wait for the Apple phone to be delivered. If anything from what i've heard about apple underpromising for shipping is true we should be getting those 11/17-24 deliveries maybe 10th-17th HOPEFULLY.
Same situation here, your request just happened to go through, while lots of others didn't. AT&T was quickly flooded and their verification servers were not processing requests fast enough.
The Apple Store App didn’t open until 2:09 for me... (sucks to be me). I had two AT&T, 256 phone pre-setup for the upgrade program, it basically took only a few seconds. Disappointed to see that both are 11/17-11/24.

Same here. It simply did not go live for everyone at the same time, which is ridiculous. People were done placing orders and we still couldn't load the store.
Geez.reading all these posts I seem to be the only one with a Dec 11-18 delivery range.... Bummer. I got through at 12:15 am PST but got locked up in process and told me to wait a few hours not to order again then got email in morning can't complete order. Had to start from scratch and now I am stuck with Dec 11 or Dec 18 delivery. Oh well.
Mine didn't verify first try with AT&T either through the Apple Store app, I just tried it again and it went though.
