View attachment 728375 Hi everyone good morning I woke up and decided to check the UPS website under tracking by reference number and found that my ATT 256 gig space gray iphone X has shipped from Foxconn. Apple's website still shows that my phone is preparing to ship. I do this every year and I found out this simple trick on the forum here

For those of you that are not familiar with doing this here's how you can check your order.

Go to UPS's website. Go to tracking. Go to track by reference number. Put the cell phone number associated with your order in as the reference number. Put your ZIP Code. Put your country. Hit track package button. If your phone has shipped it'll come up on UPS's website.

I checked last night and my phone still wasn't showing up on UPS website. I just woke up at 4 AM Pacific time and decided to check again and it shows my phone has shipped and will be here by end of day on November 3. Oh and it's coming from China

Good luck I hope everybody can find their phones. This happens every year where Apple says it still preparing to ship yet you can track it through UPS

Is anyone here from the NYC area and has had their package held for pickup? I’m just trying to figure out where the UPS CC is here so that i can have my phone held. Thanks for any help!
 
Anyone with a 11/17-11/24 date see date moved up yet? I don’t know how I got such a late date, complete order via app at 3:06am est got conf email at 3:08am this is on att next but everything flowed thru perfectly. Had issues with my wife’s order getting verification from att but not mine. And she has the same shipping window as mine
i ordered mine at about 3:10am eastern from apple (for at&t) and got 11/17-11/24. I then ordered my wife's phone directly though at&t's website at 3:30am and got an 11/3 delivery. same exact spec'd phone

You may not have to have it held at a distribution center. They may allow a store drop. Do you have any other packages coming via ups you can try to route?

It’s the part I like about fedex much more, can have it routed to a nearly endless number of locations.

By store drop, assuming you mean a UPS store... I have a case coming coming by Nov 1 so I should be able to mess around with that. Just don’t want it to delay my launch day delivery haha
 
It's literally impossible to call Apple. They hang up because of "extremely high call volume." They have been doing that for the past 24 hours. I need to change the credit card used on my order but I can't do it online and they won't answer my calls...

I was on hold for an hour on Friday morning, finally rings through to a CSR, and they disconnected. Chat went through in 10 minutes.

Try Apple Support Chat. But be ready to wait for at least 45mins to 1 hour

Yeah I can’t win, ordered from att for the 7+ and didn’t get it until week after launch and wife ordered the same thing from Apple at 7am and she got launch day. So I figured order them both from Apple this year as it seemed better shot at launch day and wham, could have had launch day if ordered from att this time
 
Got my tracking number w/ tracking by reference but can’t remember my UPS Choice login that it would fall under. Lol.

I tried the chat. It worked and was pretty quick, but they said I need to call phone support to change credit card info. It is for security reasons.

I'd say that with some orders moving up there is a chance, although it seems that all I've seen have been T-Mobile orders moving up, and a launch day phone seemed very rare for that one. If all carriers start moving up, then yes I would say there's a chance as everyone is "moving ahead" in line.
 
Does anyone know the process of European orders? I ordered around 09:05, and it's "Preparing to ship"!! (So excited!)
I see many of u that are in the US can use UPS to track the packages all the way from Asia. Does anyone know if there is any options for us in Europe? Do all the devices come from Asia? Or will they be shipped to wearhouses then forwarded?
 
Has anyone in the U.K. seen their shipping date brought forward? I was on for 8am and couldn’t get the app or website loaded, when I finally did it said 3rd November and then when it finalised it said 2-3 weeks. I’m just wondering if the people who’s orders have been brought forward are US only
