I’ve done the shipping before and have found if you don’t have a shipping email by Thursday then there might be a problem.

WOW this really sucks if indeed they'll make you wait 'til December. However, notice the second paragraph of the email... They do say that if you reply with the number of your new order they can process it faster. You should definitely try that.
Yeah... It is horrible. There is no reason why my order should have been cancelled, especially since the other 4 were not cancelled (not that I want them to be cancelled lol).
I placed a new order and sent them an email. I am just unsure what they meant by 'process your order as quickly as possible.' Hopefully they can look into it and give me my original delivery date...
Literally spoke to an Apple rep and all they could say was, "just place a new order!" No one could even tell me why it was cancelled. It was the first of 5 iPhone X that I ordered, so I definitely had enough credit on my credit card. Just at a loss for words right now.

Usually they limit you to two phones so I guess you could feel lucky you still have 4.

Was there not a limit to how many iPhone Xs one could order? I thought there was a limit of two.

If you have 4 other iPhone Xs coming, why does it matter if you need to wait for one more? Can’t you use one of the other ones arriving sooner?

Really hard to feel sorry for you when you ordered 5 lol. I hope you’re actually using all those for family / friends, and not re-selling.

I placed 5 separate orders for 5 separate lines.
I was able to order 5 iPhone 7 Plus last year and 1 iPhone 7 last year with no issues whatsoever for 6 separate lines.

I was in the T-Mobile 11/10-11/17 group at first , then I got bumped to 11/3 , now it’s showing up in my ups app.. needless to say , I’m very much relieved. Now I’m just waiting for my silicone case to ship on 11/1. Friday can’t come soon enough!! :D

I had the exact same experience last year for the 7 on att Next. Got the same email saying my order was cancelled. Sorry to hear that it happened to you too this year. Did you have to refresh the webpage during checkout at some point when you preordered that night? I think that’s what messed up mine, apparently Att thought I used my upgrade eligibility for an order that did not go through, and declined the upgrade for an order a few minutes later that did go through.

I emailed and called apple last year, while they weren’t able to give me a launch day delivery, they did move me up the queue for my replacement order to be 1-2 week after launch day. However I ended up getting my phone on launch day through a local Att store though.

Thanks for your "concern." *sarcasm*
As my original post said, all 5 lines were upgrade eligible and were done under ATT Next Every Year. One cannot get 5 phones on ATT Next Every Year without having 5 lines to put those phones on, so logically, yes, they are in fact for my family, which are the other lines on my account.

They're not my phones. I ordered 5 phones for 5 separate lines on my account, with one of those being my line, which had the order cancelled unexpectedly. My phone was cancelled for my line so I actually get 0 phones, not 4. My Mom, Dad, and 2 brothers get phones though.

Sorry to be blunt, but you sound like a brat.

Why not use one of the phones that come in and have a family member (likely more patient than you) wait for a few weeks until the 5th phone comes in?

Sorry to be blunt as well, but you sound like a prick. I placed orders and one was cancelled. I followed the rules and guidelines for ordering just like everyone else here and wants their phones just like everyone else here (including you for being on this PRECISE forum. So maybe you need patience as well?). Just because I ordered 5 phones and you ordered one changes nothing. I had one cancelled for no reason, so yes, I have every reason to be angry.
I came to see if anyone else experienced this as well and what they did. Thankfully I got helpful feedback from someone above.

Can anyone help me with this question? I placed the wrong email address (I mistyped .com as .con) when I successfully placed an order on Friday morning. As a result, I never received a confirmation email, and I couldn't call Apple Support for help since they weren't taking calls on Friday. I placed the order using Apple Pay, which still shows a charge of the full amount of the order.

I just got off the phone with Apple Support, who basically told me that I would have received a confirmation email that required me to do extra steps to actually complete said order. Since they aren't able to find the confirmation # (since I never received the email), it would expire after 24 hours, which should have been yesterday. However, I just tried to place another preorder, and it's still telling me an order is attached to my number.

Does this seem accurate to anyone? Shouldn't they be able to look up an order based on my cell number and incorrect email address?

I had the same issue where I misspelled “.com” as “.con.”

But I think you may have received the reservation email instead of the confirmation email. There are no further actions with the confirmation email.

Dang. Thank you. I did not refresh the page. I got into the Apple app around 3:03am EST and was smoothly able to place my order. Then I placed the following 4 orders with no issues either. That's so weird... Their system was definitely behind for you then since it thought you had processed an upgrade. :/
Yeah, that email blew me away when I saw that this morning. I placed 5 separate orders for 5 separate lines on my ATT account and only one of the orders had this issue. Came here to this forum to get input and advice, so I thank you for that, unlike some of others here. ATT and Apple both say they have no idea why the order was cancelled...

red alert NEW INFO!
what is this!!!!

LOOK AT THAT DATE!!!! The exception is bc I chose my package to held at the local CC

But on main tracking page it says 11/3

On Friday, October 27 I preordered a 256GB Space Gray ATT iPhone X on ATT Next Every Year with a guaranteed delivery date of November 3, 2017. It was "Preparing for Shipment."
At 10:16am EST today, I received an email from Apple saying:
"While processing your iPhone order, we encountered one of the following
issues with your AT&T account. It appears that either the credit
application linked to your order has been canceled, or your current
wireless plan is not compatible with the iPhone. As a result, your
iPhone order has been canceled and you have not been charged.

If you have any questions about this cancelation, please contact AT&T at
1-800-331-0500.To place a new iPhone order, please visit
store.apple.com. If you reply to this email with your new Apple order
number, we will process your order as quickly as possible."

I ordered 5 iPhone X on ATT Next Every Year for 5 lines on my ATT account. All 5 lines have been upgrade eligible as of September. Now my order is cancelled. I have spoken to Apple and ATT and all they can say is, "place a new order and hope for the best." So from ordering through Apple, I have gone from a November 3 delivery date to December 12-19 delivery date.

Anyone else wake up to this wonderful email? Not even a warning. Just a "hey, we cancelled your order." Could not be more livid right now.
I blame Trump
