Off topic, but anyone have an experience with adding Apple Care+ via online? Forgot to add it to my iPX order and wondering how the diagnostics check works? Thanks!
Mine defaulted with an exception before I even changed to CC. I’m told it’s for customs
The have to stop for fuel. It's probably efficient to handle customs inspection at the same time.
Apple has begun charging credit cards...have my X coming on the 3rd and had my credit card charged tonight.
No change in mine so far tonight. No charge and still processing for the 3rd. Getting antsy in my pantsy.
I had a pending charge for taxes but that was for the 12/5 order they cancelled and it dropped today. Would have thought the 11/3 would have charged and started moving by now. I completed that order at ~5am on the 27th just 3.5 hours after the first order.We are in the same boat my friend

Same here...Still says "Preparing for shipping" on apple.com and my payment still remains processing on my cc...
My persistence has paid off. UPS MyChoice just updated with a tracking number. Woohoo time to go to sleep!

When I was ordering from the Apple store app at 3 am ET on Friday morning, I had a glitch which I’m now wondering is worth pursuing. I managed to get connected at about 3:02, ordered the Verizon silver 256 GB model, signed up for the Apple Upgrade program, and then put in the payment information. There was already 11-10 mail delivery date but I was able to choose pickup on 11-3 at an Apple store near me. The next screen let me choose what time to pick up and I chose 3 pm, hit next and then the screen was just hanging forever. But it seemed as though my enrollment in Apple upgrade and payment was already complete.
App was frozen so I went to a laptop browser and tried to do the order again. When I tried to enroll in the Apple upgrade program it wouldn’t let me, said I already had a reservation(screenshot). I have not, however, gotten any email to complete my order yet. Other people in similar situations seem to have gotten emails to complete their orders. Is this worth pursuing or do I keep my backup order- from Verizon which delivers on 11/15?
I finally got a tracking number on MyChoice. Checking every hour paid off lol.

That's cool. My bro did it early too and had to wait an extra day last year. Hopefully it won't be any trouble for doing it too early this year.

How many of you requested Hold for Pickup as soon as you retrieved tracking number from UPS? And how many of you decided to wait at least until it arrived in the States before requesting Hold for Pickup?
