I bought an Anker high speed pad for $25 from Amazon (no charging adapter included). I will probably get the Apple one also when it’s released next year. Hope it doesn’t only come in white, but I suspect it will.
From ZhengZhou? Nope. There's usually a stop somewhere else before Alaska. Could be Shanghai, Shenzhen, Incheon, Narita or Tokyo, but usually the big flights don't source out of ZhengZhou.
My money would be on either Incheon or Shenzhen.

The flight will stop in Anchorage to refuel / clear US customs, then on to Louisville.
[doublepost=1509354212][/doublepost]For those wanting to hold their phones at the UPS Customer Centers, you should call them to make that change....if you do it through the app / online, it might flag it as a destination change and cost you a day (ie, Monday).
If you call them, they should be able to hold it at the CC without impacting your delivery date.
But, before you do that - double-check what their hours are....some only have very short pick-up windows in the afternoon - you might actually get it quicker if you let it get delivered to your home.

I purchased the phone at :02 and I’m slated for a delivery of Nov 3rd. Shipping info is updated on MyUPS but still PFS w/ regards to Apple’s website.
I wonder if the charge update means we will see some movement out of ZhengZhou today??
Edit: I’d like to add that I’ve had shipping info since the 28th, so this charge is definitely updated. Makes me think we will see movement today!

Well, what a joke is the IUP and the Apple Store App lol. I placed an order 2.5 hours AFTER pre orders went live on AT&T's website on my phone lol...that order is preparing to ship for Nov. 3rd and the apple store app order is still showing delivery dates of Nov. 17-24th lol. I'm disappointed to say the least...there's no way to use this AT&T next phone as my IUP phone is there?
No - plan is to purchase through the Apple store app and pick up in store. Had success with this before. Long shot but Stock becomes available at various times.
Ah, that sucks. Well Apple just lost me as an IUP member then lol. Maybe next year I'll try it again. They suck for this lol. It doesn't make sense a carrier can get me my phone faster than they can.
Just call apple care once you receive the phone to purchase it. That's what I do every year and it's fine that add it and charge my cc
It makes all the sense in the world. The US carriers got allocation of pre-order stock from Apple. You're only competing against other AT&T subscribers when doing that pre-order. Ordering from Apple's IUP, you're competing with everyone else from around the world.
Ah that DOES make sense. The only reason I was on the fence about this is because last year when I ordered the iP7+ Jet Black in 256 GB AT&T gave me a date and then it got pushed like a month back because Apple "supposedly" pulled back stock from what they had given the carriers in order to give them to the IUP members. Not sure if this is true or not bc I know the Jet Black was super hard to get in the beginning and I ended up cancelling my order with AT&T and reserving an in-store pick up for the Matte Black instead and becoming an IUP in store. I'm going to contact Apple to see if they're even moving orders up cause it may be worth the wait if its just an extra week.

Yep..that's how I got my iP7+ last year. Heh...well, the modem in the Verizon phone is faster than the AT&T one (or, at least, that's the case with the 8's). But, whether you actually see those speeds in real life? Debatable.
Hopefully we see Apple adjust the dates for the rest of the pre-orders once all those in the 11/3 club are sorted.

My UPS is showing that it'll be delivered the 31st, but then when I click to track its coming in the 3rd. Yes, I know about the hold and that I won't get it until the 3rd but its gonna be real hard knowing its sitting just on the other side of town for a few days On a side note... all of my packages are automatically held at the CC, couldn't really stop it in time... it's been working for me for years.

There’s a thing called cargo airplane, which would take things over sky in less than 24 hours.
In past iPhone launches, I have not seen movement until Wednesday and still received my phone on Friday's launch day. For everyone worrying about this, keep in mind, if Apple gives you a deliver by date or a date range, they will almost always hit or beat that date, especially for a new launch.
Unless there’s a major issue like weather, you’ll get it. I’ve tracked phones that ship the day before.
Yep. 2 years ago I didn't get my "preparing to ship" status change until 1 am on launch day. Was delivered by 11am.
So some of you will be obsessing all week and it'll still come. Try to be patient. There's no rhyme or reason to how some get their shipping info on Fri/Sat after PreOrder night and others don't get it til 1am on launch day.
