I just messaged with Apple and it was totally useless. Can't change the address unless you do it before the phone gets to shipping. I was told the phones would be delivered by the 24th. That was it. Other than a sorry the system didn't work at first and Apple is aware that there were problems. Lame!

Apple is pretty accurate about delivery times. Except for the Apple Pencil.

Yes! This is my first pre-order/launch day iPhone. For the 7 plus, I waited in line at the apple store and had no idea there was a forum that tracked this kind of thing. Happy to see nuts out there like me! I do compulsively track things I'm really excited about receiving, but this forum takes it a whole nother level! Work is definitely suffering a bit this week haha!

My hold for pickup request has been pending for over 24 hours now. Request completion is when you see Exception in your MyChoice delivery planner. So, I called up UPS, and the lady said it could complete once the package reaches the States or once it reaches the UPS CC on the day of. And as such, she couldn't guarantee the availability for a pickup on the day of.
I'm contemplating cancelling the request and just waiting at home. Do you think it's safe to cancel the request at this point without affecting the delivery?
Gosh, waiting for delivery is much more stressful than trying to pre-order.

It looks beautiful, but I did notice one thing suspicious. I read or saw something somewhere that the lock button was repurposed as the button for Siri/Apple pay. On this video he actually locks the screen with the side button. Anyone have any insight? That's what has me thinking the phone in the video is a knockoff.
(Me personally, I hope that lock button has an option to turn of Siri/Apple Pay to utilize the side button as the original lock button because I use that hundreds of times a day and rarely use Siri/Apple Pay.)
Side note: I finally got the shipment notification from Apple my padfolio berry case shipped. Ordered immediately after I pre-ordered the iPhone X.

Side button functions (formerly known as Lock button):
press once: lock
press twice: Apple Pay
press and hold: Siri
If you hold the button Siri would prompt up. If you double tap it then Apple Pay will Prompt. One tap you lock/sleep the phone
