None of the outbound flights from Lexington need to leave today or tonight. They can remain there until for the Thursday night / Friday very early morning sort and ship.

Dave

My thoughts exactly in fact and all the other times I've done this for last 10 years that's pretty much what is happened they'll fly out late Thursday night and arrive in Los Angeles on Friday early morning

I don't have the scan on UPS choice but I called UPS and the operator told me it had landed in Kentucky last night. She said the scanning is behind and the full tracking info has not been updated on their websites yet because of the volume

Why on earth are you bothering UPS, asking about a flight landing. Do you know how ridiculous that is?

I’ll bold it like the other posts. NONE of us have a shipped status.

No worries yet, it just needs to be on the road by tonight from China. Also the Apple information is stale. It has not been updated with shipping information.

Dave

Last year mine didn't leave China until the day before its expected arrival. You'd be surprised how fast they can get them moved. It won't change to shipped until it gets stateside.

I was actually just able to locate it through a my UPS account. I had tried finding it that way earlier, and it didn't work for me. Worked this time. It left AK yesterday. I haven't ordered a launch day iPhone since the 6s Plus, so it's been a while for me trying to remember how quickly the order status changed throughout the process. I seem to remember my 6s Plus showing shipping information sooner than 2 days before delivery, but maybe it didn't. Thanks to those that replied.

I had to call them for something else because I had a package mis-delivered yesterday ( I have a UPS shipping account and had shipped something out that did not get delivered to its intended recipient ) and I was checking on that. So I thought since I have a very kind operator on the phone so I would just ask. The last time I remembered there is no harm in asking.

So I would suggest before you criticize somebody for their actions you find out all the facts before you make such a bold statement on this forum.

They only refuelled in Anchorage....they didn't unload the cargo. Looks like they're doing the customs clearance for this one in Louisville as well (otherwise that would have been added before leaving Anchorage).

That would be the most logical explanation ... you figured they would at least update tracking showing they landed! LOl

My phone arrived in HK 11:23 am HK time. It's now 10:27 pm HK time and no departure scan. Either they are behind on updating the tracking, or it's time to start worrying about a Friday delivery. Phone has traveled 800 miles in 3 days & is still in China

So, I'm thinking of getting one of these. Anyone else have other nightstand charging solutions? The problem with a flat mat only is you can't tell what time it is.

Heh...well, they're not actually re-scanning the skids at that point, so I think it's good enough just to have one line that they were there. :) (it at least confirmed for everyone that they were tracking the right plane)

Zero reason to worry about Friday delivery. They can leave China tomorrow morning and still get the delivery, but you will likely leave China today.

To everyone who is predicting which aircraft their iPhones will be transferred to next: it is hard to predict. There are so many flights going in/out of SDF that is hard to pinpoint exactly which plane our phones will be on next.

I would rather be patient and wait for that next Departure Scan and correlate it with the departure time of flight that closely resembles it on flightaware.com

Until then...hold tight!
