Mine says the same thing. In-Transit , On time for 11/3, Date Tentative. It has said this from the beginning. I was just assuming it was a customs thing.
Remember when the 5 was delivered early? I wish they'd do that again.
Inside the actual entry, it does have the green "In Transit: On Time" entry. But, on the main page that shows all my UPS deliveries, I still have the "Date Tentative" part listed on the entry for 11/3.
It really is new to me. I'll be glad to see a scan for Louisville. There's really nothing but mechanical failure that would hold up anything between here and Louisville.

Oh, hey... cool. Yeah... I finally got around to actually checking mine yesterday. Prior to that, I hadn't looked at MyChoice. I guess I've done it on so many launches, it's not really that exciting anymore. I did it more as a "let's just see if stuff is moving along yet" measure.
My bigger concern is that my son's phone (coming in his name) isn't showing up as a delivery for this address and it seems like I usually see stuff for everyone else here at home... or, I think I do.
I should probably sign him up so we can see for sure.
Definitely. I think we will start seeing the normal routes from past experiences now. She said the flight yesterday (NCR628) was unusual. I think it was something special Apple and UPS did, there was probably fanfare around it. (my guess only)
She did say that others will likely see scans in Hong Kong and Seoul.
I do agree with others, as long as dates are showing the 3rd, I don't think anyone should start assuming anything differently at this point. A plane can literally get to Louisville up till about 4 am local time and still make their scheduled deliveries for that day nationwide. I have been there when an inbound plane encountered severe weather delay and an entire fleet of planes were chartered to get packages to their destinations on time.

I had mine tentative and now changed to by the end of the day
I’m in Indiana also, about 3-1/2 hours from Louisville if that much. I have changed my delivery to hold at UPS but haven’t gotten any confirmation on that so am a tad concerned. There won’t be anyone home and Apple (ATT) wouldn’t let me ship it to my work address. So if UPS tries to deliver it and no one is there, they will take it back and that location is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I will go ahead and leave a note on the door to leave without signature. I really don’t want to do that.
I changed my requested delivery to a UPS locker and mine was showing tentative as well (on the main screen; on time in the detail pages). My "tentative" went away once it got to HK.

Ordered a 256 GB Silver iPhone X AT&T though Apple.com on AT&T Next plan. I have it timed just right to be able to upgrade after 12 payments to the new iPhone each year. Got my order in at 12:06 AM and here is my tracking update through UPS My Choice. Glad to see it’s in the states with a scheduled delivery on Friday!
I was in AT&T here on Monday and the guy told me they didn’t have too many iPhone X available for launch day. He said it was mostly the 64 GB model. Glad I preordered online!

Mine says "End of Day" inside the tracking number once I get to the full page, but the entry in my MyChoice window that shows all deliveries for this week still says "Tentative" on it. Maybe that's normal?
Is your phone already in the states ? Mines is still in China chilling. I imagine you should have it held at a ups hub (the hub has to approve he request first) opposed to leaving a grand phone on your door step.. I live in the zip 46235 and I’m having mines picked up at 9 AM at the hub. If not have a friend to sign it for you at your house m. But again the hub has to approve the request for it to be held (Make sure you choose the one that’s assigned to handle your packages for you area) You should know by late Thursday early Friday that’s it’s been held and ready for pick up
Curious, maybe I missed it before, but I noticed this morning a string of numbers listed as Ref nos. for my order. 2 are obvious, my phone number and order number minus the last 2 digits. Anyone have any idea what those other numbers refer to? I don't see my phone in my support profile, so can't confirm any are serial numbers
Do any of you get UPS shipments delivered at a PO Box? (PO Boxes now give you a physical address just like the UPS store mailboxes do) IF so... do you know if Apple deliveries can be made there? I am getting all future shipments (not this iPhone) delivered at my PO Box and was curious.
I typed in my phones phone number followed by my ZIP code (no space between) on the UPS website - check reference number box and not tra king number. It gave me my tracking number and I tracked it since last Saturday - it Left Anchorage yesterday afternoon - presumably landen somewhere but no record of it.
thanks I just did that for my number but not success. so I tried order number instead and it worked. status same as you
Those are Reference numbers that can be used by you to search for iPhone before Apple shows the Tracking Number and even after you have a Tracking number.
Go to the UPS site and search by reference by your 10 digit phone number or your Apple order minus the last 2 digits.

How do you get the ups app to show the full progress? Mine is only showing the last movement witch is departed from Anchorage at 4:30.
