Worldport is a giant airport/warehouse, I could see them setting aside the pallets of iPhones coming in, since they don’t need to go out until tomorrow. Then tonight they break the pallets apart and scan each individual box and load it up on the right plane/truck.

They probably do this to save money, that’s logistics ❤️.

It does if it's saving money, why put a few hundred packages that's going to the same state as the current plane arriving ? MARK MY WORD. Makes since in a logistic standpoint bud. They aren't going to send 5 planes to a state with the apple products split up. Like I said again you'll start seeing movement once our 1:35ers land in Kentucky in a few hours

Actually that’s probably exactly what they’re doing, holding shipments back to sort them all at once, they’ve got plenty of capacity. An iPhone sort is nothing like Christmas.

UPS is sending out planes and trucks non-stop from the Kentucky Hub. It makes absolutely no sense to wait to sort huge quantities of packages for more packages that still need sorting. They will throw these phones on to other trucks and planes with packages also heading to locations all over the country. It is naive to think that they are sending planes and trucks from Kentucky loaded with JUST iPhone X's. Furthermore, UPS is not going to risk all of the packages arriving late for unforeseen circumstances further down the shipping chain, so that a plane that is over a day behind can be sorted at the same time. It is honestly laughable, but like I said, whatever it takes to sleep at night.

They are being held in secure storage in the Customs Area. If they flowed through the sort / distribution process to early they would be likely to be put on flights tonight and delivered to the local hubs a day early creating a "Major" security problem.

hmmm, new user who registered today, and this is the first post.

I'm calling BS.

The same thing has happened to me so the date being pushed back is not BS.

When I called apple they didn't tell me the shipment went missing, just they have no idea what's going on so I'm waiting on a callback from someone higher up.

And the truth is that only people who work there truly know how they operate.

THOSE FLIGHTS ARE PLANNED AHEAD OF TIME. They aren't going to put the phones on a random plane because it's convenient... It could be 100 planes leaving Kentucky does not mean that plane is going to have the iPhones on them.. Our Plane will be in Kentucky in a bit like I said MARK MY WORD! I won't continue as you don't understand logistics. Why do you think you haven't seen any scans yet in Kentucky ? On top of that UPS already know what planes the iPhnoes are going on way in advanced..

We were talking to our UPS Driver this afternoon, and warning him on the Friday deliveries.. he replied “yeah we’re aware of the incoming, not to worry”.
Then he continued “you should have seen us 3 years ago when a bunch of pallets of Apple products went missing, never did find them...”
NOT HELPING o_O

Omg you just made me laugh out loud :D

For those of you that are selling your phones on swappa...
I tried listing it but they denied it bc it has the outstanding financing through Apple. Did you guys pay your loan off before selling it? Any way around that?

Conscious that we’re seeing lots of people ask the same question over and over again.

I *dont think* this one has been asked yet. But apologies if it has. I’ve gone back about 10 pages, but life is too short to ready 260 pages to check!!..

Have held my parcel at UPS CC on friday. Exception was there but is now gone and shows as picking up from CC. What I want to know is that folks say they pick them up at 8am (which is what I’m hoping to do before work) but my app says estimated delivery time as “by end of day.” To clarify, this is the large local CC I am going to, not a Store.

Is this normal? Will I be able to collect at 8am?!

Thanks in advance
Your tracking actually indicates that you'll be picking it up from a CC? Mine still just says "Delivery Change Requested: Hold for Pickup."

As far as I'm aware I haven't had an exception and my delivery date hasn't changed from 11/3, but I don't check the tracking too frequently. Requested the pick up change 3 days ago via phone call with UPS because I wasn't sure which CC my phone was going to.

Yeah I don't believe you. Post your screenshot under your devices.

Next time don't show your epeen when you can't back it up
Catching up today in the forum and found these posts..
I’ll just have to talk to my UPS Teamster Brothers and make sure the showoffs in Boston get delivery exceptions galore! :p
This is supposed to be a joyous occasion not a d*** measuring contest!
Why are you in a pissing contest with a random person from the internet. Shows your credit card is probably max’ed our. Keeping up with the Jones much?
Seriously bro. Dude didn’t even say how many gigs or anything. Just that his iPX will look good with his other devices and this guy comes along with his ceramic watch that runs the SAME software and works the SAME as the aluminum and stainless ones. Talk about a waste of money... Not to mention AppleCare for that one is $99 instead of $49. Someone’s got ego problems.
