UserJalen is pretty much exactly right.

At Worldport they have a storage area that is over 4x4 footballs fields. They are likely holding the shipments in SDF to ensure Friday delivery and not sooner. If they put them into the system early they run a greater risk of breaking contract with Apple and phones being delivered early. Rumor is that is what cost FedEx the contract to begin with, so they will not screw that up.

As someone else pointed out, Friday may be our Christmas, but it is nothing like Christmas rush at Worldport. They will easily handle all of our packages and be delivered on time Friday. Even planes leaving ZZ in the morning will make it in time.

That plane is one mph below the speed of sound.

But not for its altitude tho-They use knots indicated airspeed on planes. I’ll find a cool Doc I saw for you about that. It’s pressure/altitude etc. They can do 748Mph over the ground but probably are doing like 300-400kts airspeed.

No, many of us were on the same plane. It landed safely in Louisville and was unloaded. The pallets are being stored until processing. We should start seeing scans tonight.

I tried listing it but they denied it bc it has the outstanding financing through Apple. Did you guys pay your loan off before selling it? Any way around that?

How do they know? I don’t see why they would care anyways since you end up paying 2 loans.

They care because if he stops paying on that loan or doesn’t pay it off, it’s technically not his. Therefore, it can’t be sold. It’s fraud.

Just so happens I have another package coming UPS Friday and it did give me the option to select a two hour delivery window so I purchased it for $8. I’m gambling that my phone will get delivered along with that package. I live in a fairly small town so I’m assuming with a level of certainty their not going to have two trucks delivering in my neighborhood. Worst case scenario I lose $8 and my phone comes later that day.

I had a Nov 3 delivery date. was "preparing for shipment"

Now: order in progress, Nov 17

Apple won't do anything.

Exact same issue. 5 hours ago Preparing for Shipment for 11/3, now Order in progress 11/15-11/17. So mad at Apple.

They check he imei. They should have a system where once it’s sold you show proof the loan has been paid off. I don’t want to pay off the loan unless it sells bc otherwise I’m mailing it back to Apple.

I wish I had that option. I signed into My UPS Choice, but don't see that option available. Hopefully you get your phone in that window of time!

I was able to select it on another package from UPS coming that same day. It gives the option in the My UPS app.

It didn’t give the option to do it with the phone for me either just the other package.

That's probably why no iPhone x have been listed on swappa yet. The resellers don't have the IMEI yet and the financers that have the IMEI can't list them. Friday morning swappa will be full
