I was able to select it on another package from UPS coming that same day. It gives the option in the My UPS app.

Yea ive used that same feature before, even for my Jet black iPhone 7, but I didn't have the option this time.

They check he imei. They should have a system where once it’s sold you show proof the loan has been paid off. I don’t want to pay off the loan unless it sells bc otherwise I’m mailing it back to Apple.

You must be new to this.. you will get an updated status when it hits US soil. Some people don’t see a status change until the phone is out for delivery.
You will have your phone on Friday. I’ve done all except 1 preorder and my phone always deliver the day it’s suppose to.

UserJalen is pretty much exactly right.

At Worldport they have a storage area that is over 4x4 footballs fields. They are likely holding the shipments in SDF to ensure Friday delivery and not sooner. If they put them into the system early they run a greater risk of breaking contract with Apple and phones being delivered early. Rumor is that is what cost FedEx the contract to begin with, so they will not screw that up.

As someone else pointed out, Friday may be our Christmas, but it is nothing like Christmas rush at Worldport. They will easily handle all of our packages and be delivered on time Friday. Even planes leaving ZZ in the morning will make it in time.

You are charged immediately for taxes. It will be a pending charge until item ships. Your choice of payment decides if the pending charge stays on or drops off. If your pending charge drops. It’s the vendor that decides when to recharge. Sometimes it’s after the phone ships. Sometimes it’s before.

its with the Apple upgrade program so its just the taxes Plus Citizens bank said they'll charge me my first month once the phone is shipped.

my bank says there has not been any pending/temp charges from Apple, which is why im wondering because my email says to expect over $160 in charges while my status page says its just $130.

Im expecting Apple to charge me before it ships, but i have no clue when. my shipping is the 11/16-11/24 date

I had a Nov 3 delivery date. was "preparing for shipment"

Now: order in progress, Nov 17

Apple won't do anything.

Exact same issue. 5 hours ago Preparing for Shipment for 11/3, now Order in progress 11/15-11/17. So mad at Apple.

Mine says the same thing, but I found my UPS tracking number and I can see its on the way to me. Apple never updates their system in a timely fashion.
