Just finally got my 12 in black. Honestly feels a bit cheap compared to my launch day iPX. Maybe its the fact that its so much lighter and still has a big bezel. Im sure ill get used to it quickly
So I had my graphite 12 pro, now have a white 12 and I absolutely love the 12 design...it’s really hard to pick one, I love how it’s so light but it doesn’t feel cheap from it. I’ll miss this when I order my 12 pro max but hey that camera and battery life
 
I did just get my $8 back. And so should everybody else that paid for it. They’re not shipping any faster than those that did not pay for express shipping.

Express shipping doesn’t mean faster shipping, Apple told me it basically just gives you a shorter time window that standard shipping. example: my AW S6 had a ship date of Sept 21-23rd with express shipping. It shipped on the 22nd. Standard shipping you normally get a week time frame.
 
Hiya, can somebody tell me bc I’m getting frustrated. My phone was shipped on Friday, left customs and facility and after 6h came back to the same facility. During weekend nothing happened (the delivery day was tomorrow the 27th Oct) but yesterday during the day the status changed to (pic attached). I called ups and one lady said that the phone is already in USA, then te guy said that didn’t left China yet. So when I will get it?
We are all in the same boat (or warehouse, lol).

Not sure if there is a UPS server issue, or an actual issue with the delivery, but based on another non-Apple shipment issue with UPS, I think they are having serious server lag/issues . It’s definitely frustrating.

I seem to also be stuck. I’ve been in ZengZhou since 10/24 and is still waiting on paperwork response. I’m hoping it has actually been moving.

I sent an email to ups yesterday and they replied me now.

Hoo Boy! A few of us in here are in your same boat xmagicx, hang in there. Someone mentioned it's possible the phone/shipment IS in the U.S. and UPS just hasn't updated our scans (they get suppressed sometimes) so I'm ever the hopeful they are headed to Kentucky to be shipped to all of the destinations.

So, one rep you spoke to said the package is in the U.S. and another said it hadn't departed China, huh? Well damn. Even they don't know!

I'm about ready to delete my UPS My Choice app before I break the darn thing!

I LOVE Veruca Salt the band. Hey-they released Ghost Notes in 2015. Not all that long ago. It was pretty good!

Woo hoo! haha... I love this. I'm so glad you got your PB 12 pro and love it. I imagine I will feel the exact same way once it's in my impatient hands. LOL.
 
Shoot UPS stopped displaying 10/27 as the delivery date for my initial 10/30-11/4 order. It is now saying saying they will be updating delivery plans and that it is in transit. Something about them updating once transferred to ups in destination city.

I am assuming this means UPS won’t quote an accurate date until they get the cargo from the plane from whatever company was used to charter the flight
Same thing happened to me. Waiting for the updated shipping date

So my update,

UPS Friday - waited for delivery all day. Finally had to be at the hospital for work by 5 PM for my shift. So missed the package and it said online that delivery was attempted at 8:30 PM EST. Came home at 8:15 AM EST the next day. No note was left on my door which is unusual.

UPS Saturday - I am home and eagerly awaiting package delivery. I keep staring out my window, etc... I also keep refreshing UPS online tracking. My windows face the main street and I did see a UPS truck enter the apartment complex at around 1 PM EST. I was sure this was going to be it! Then 5 minutes later saw it leave... Figured it could be some priority mail... No problem. I'll keep waiting. 4 PM EST - refresh UPS online tracking - Delivery Attempted at 3:15 PM EST. What???? I was shocked. I was literally sitting on my couch waiting for the package. I heard no knock. Literally doubt they even came... Mind you my couch is like 10 feet from the door...

I call UPS at 4:30 PM EST - frustrated, but respectful and tell them my situation. She acknowledges that is is very unusual and first time she's heard of a note not being left on the first "try". I also tell her there is no way someone knocked on my door at 3:15 PM EST for delivery. She say's she's sorry and that Monday will be another attempt. I tell her to please call the driver and tell the driver to come back! She acknowledges my frustration, and says she will notify dispatch and takes my number down. She says dispatch should call me within the hour.

6:30 PM EST - I call back. No call from dispatch. They say again - oh Monday will the attempt. I re-iterate my story and she says let me upgrade to dispatch as URGENT. She assures me I will receive a call within the hour because she has documented properly this time.

8:00 PM EST - I call back. No call from dispatch. I tell them I was told because of the URGENT status I will definitely be receiving a call from dispatch. I am told Monday is the attempt. I re-iterate my frustration. Finally he says ok it will be delivered by the end of the day today. I ask, what does "end of the day" mean? He says until 9:30 PM. He also says I will DEFINITELY get my package today. He is assuring me that this time I will definitely get a call and the package.

10:00 PM EST - I call back. No call from dispatch. No package. I am told sorry it's past the time for deliveries. I told them that it sounded like through all my day UPS just wanted to get the customer off the line and push me off... She says sorry, Monday is delivery.

Long story short,

I understand this is not an emergency. But what is wrong is the fact that there is no note left. No KNOCK on the door... I live in an apartment. I know for a fact I did not miss this knock on the door. This is unreal and I cannot believe this... I thought I would share my "horror" story to you all. Ha.
This happened to my gf with an iPhone delivery from them. At one point they even told her it was lost and they can’t find what truck it was on so they will call when they find it. UPS is terrible lol

In all seriousness I hope we get a GREAT update soon. I'd much rather prefer scans are delayed vs the shipments. KEEP ME IN SUSPENSE, UPS... I CAN TAKE IT! (no I can't)

This is my last update so far... No idea if this means it's flown out of China or not. I've never cared about a shipment as I do about this one.

Now I'm totally freaked out about making changes to have it held at a UPS CC (which doesn't help me much because their limited hours conflicts with my work hours) or going under the stress of the UPS truck making the actual delivery. We don't get too many deliveries from UPS but my MagSafe case arrived around 6:15 p.m. on the 20th. Decisions, decisions... either or could slow down my chances. Anyway I lost my delivery date window but know I'll have one in approximately 24-48 hours if things go smoothly.
Same here, I think we are in this thing together

This to me further reinforces the fact that I think it’s already on the US, either AK or KY, but the custom clearing and other shipment statuses haven’t syncs to the app servers:

Hope you're right. Usually these things clear customs pretty quickly. Not sure why it's sitting in China so long.

What's interesting to me is that my label was created on 10/24 (not 10/23 like you)

but the 8/25 "We've submitted documentation" scan for you was at 4:52 p.m. and mine reflects 8:46 p.m. on the same date.

I guess we aren't in the same shipment?

anyone else not able to select their CC as an option for pickup, only options I'm getting to choose from are ups stores and local supermarkets that have ups lockers...

edit- nevermind i found it i had to use the locaton of the first CC my ups packages hit, the second CC closer to me that my packages normal route through is not selectable...
