@Bea220 My phone got to CO last night and is out for delivery this morning. My husband would not understand, either. When I did take a break from painting and posted on here yesterday he just rolled his eyes at me. he’s not gonna like it when my phone comes and I immediately drop the paintbrush and start the switch 😂 I was so tired last night I didn’t even jump on here. I’m old and painting is hard!

@honeycrisp I didn’t have any luck with the reference numbers until the package left the factory.

May the UPS gods smile upon you all with fast shipping for those en route and early trucks for those of us out for delivery.

ETA: my son’s phone shipped yesterday, processed paperwork in 1.5 hours and is already in Korea! Not fair!
 
How do you get this feature? I have UPS my choice but I’ve never seen (or noticed) this...

My package arrived in Sylmar and was sent to the Van Nuys hub at 7:50 p.m. yesterday.

It’s funny... some get destination scans at 4 a.m. and others not until 6 or 7. I wonder why that is. 🤔

EDIT: just got my destination destination scan at 4:20 a.m.!

Follow my Delivery is sent via a link in an email or text message by UPS to you. To my knowledge, that’s the only way you can access that feature. They don’t offer it for all deliveries. You just have to watch for it in your email or text app.
 
I think @Bea220 has a good point that dings and dents are gonna happen, but if you KNOW that is gonna bother you every time you look at the phone I would say try to exchange it.

So exciting to see more peeps getting their phones and tracking their trucks today!
I would exchange. Different to get dings and stuff over time than to have it have it right out of the box.

Yup that’s how I feel. Now we have less of a chance to get it on launch day. I normally only used my phone in the past to preorder but now I’m going to use my XS Max, SE 2020 and laptop.
Definitely after that whole still getting ready garbage
 
Mine arrived, and a week earlier than the dates Apple gave me! I’ll take it! BUT, I’m trying to decide if I’m being petty at this little dent/defect in the bottom right corner... would you take it back? (Please ignore the fuzz - it was in pocket and the Apple MagSafe case seems to attract all of the dust and fuzz).
I’d exchange it since it came that way out of the box. I would wonder what might be wrong with the phone that I won’t see until later (past the return date). I check closely for dings and scratches since it’s such an expensive device. I want the wear and tear to come from me, not the factory.

I would call Apple ASAP and tell them it was received damaged out of the box. You didn't pay $1,000 dollars + for damaged product.

I was looking through my UPS My Choice emails and I finally realized some do come with the option but not others. I don't believe this one will either (which is probably a GOOD thing 🤣) and my phone is sitting in the Delivery Truck since 5 a.m. patiently waiting for the driver. I was skimming through old deliveries and some drivers don't hit the road until 9ish. I'm trying to stop myself from murdering the UPS app with refreshes.

@Wolfs good luck to you (and your hubby!) when the phone arrives. Husband's just don't understand unless they are huge Apple fans. LOL. Back in the day (10+ years ago) when my husband got me my first iPhone I remember him saying "how special" the device was... fast forward to today and that man is nowhere to be found. Things definitely do change sometimes. He created a fangirl and really he only has himself to blame.

I'm so tempted to cancel my MagSafe charger online order and just run to the Apple store where it is in stock but I don't have a lot of time. We are hitting the road first thing tomorrow and our sofa is coming within the same delivery window as the phone. 🤞

My charger was set to deliver Nov 3rd - 10th and it hasn't budged.

Ah well. I just want the phone to get here. I've got my protection (case and screen protector) and my anker brick so I'm set.

@xmagicx wow, your delivery came at 9 a.m.! that's awesome. Mine won't come until 1 p.m. to 5:30.

A long day of a wait. I'd best get busy with work. I clocked in a 7 mile run before work to let off some of the stress. LOL.
 
Me thing that drives me crazy about UPS is getting the “your driver is arriving soon” message and they don’t arrive for 12 hours.
That is definitely one of the things about UPS that annoys me. Just don't give the feature if it is going to be like that. At least when Amazon delivers and I see the so many stops notification, it's usually a half hour at worst before it is delivered.
 
Its a great phone. I think with better power management it could really rock the boat. At this time it just falls short of the battery life the 11 pro has. Now i get the 11 pro has a larger batter, but that just tad bit more makes a huge difference.
Ya i am trying to go from a 11 max to a 12 so... Not sure that will work
 
I’ll see how much I love the 12 Pro. I’m going from the X. I might go to my Apple store a week from Saturday to check out the Pro Max.
