Apple.COM iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Ordered a Black 32gb At&t from Apple.com on Friday at around 12:30pm. Apple still says "Preparing for shipment" but I checked this morning and found the tracking info on UPS.

Ordered aroun 10.30 AM ET thru apple.com. The status shows preparing for shipment and hasn't changed yet. The thing is i need to change the delivery address and apple.com wouldn't allow me to do it.

I ordered around 9:30 AM PT and I haven't seen anything on UPS or Fedex.

When I put in my phone number i just put the 10 digits right? No hyphens or anything?

Mine is still 'preparing for shipment' as well, and a search on the UPS and FedEx sites doesn't turn up anything. I ordered from Apple's website at about 7am on Friday, and am using Sprint.

Yep, no spaces or hyphens, just the 10 digits.

Mine is still like that as well. I called apple last night, and they said everything still seems to be okay.

My card hasn't been charged yet either. I ordered around 7pm eastern time.

well, there is no hope for my status to change since i ordered late (due to an AT&T cancel).

Placed two orders through apple.com (for AT&T) at about 4:00 AM Friday. My Apple status is Preparing for Shipment for both. However, they have both left China not too long ago via UPS.

Yep, that's my situation, except with a 64GB White iPhone. The only difference between your screenshot and mine is that mine has changed to "Expedited Shipping" versus "Standard Shipping". Apple customer support says there's nothing wrong with the order that they can see. Hope they're right.

AT&T here - ordered via the Apple Store iPhone app.

I just called as well. told me that everything is fine. Asked why my CC hasn't been charged (only see a pending charge) and was told it won't officially charge the card till it ships.

A bit puzzling as I got my tracking info from the UPS site and if it's correct, the phone already shipped.

I know i'm over-thinking this and everything will be fine, but I figured, why not call.

How do we go about pre-signing for this delivery? There's an option on the Apple.com website but when you click on it the order status just pops up and there's no way to set it up.

Once the order ships and the info is updated on Apple.com, there will be a link to pre-sign. but the link doesn't appear until the tracking info appears on apple.com

So one of my phones shipped (27 hours ago), the other is still preparing for shipment. Called apple rep and she said everything is still on track for delivery this friday

When I called them today, they told me there are no issues with my order. And then I told them I was concerned becuase I felt like it would take at least two days to get from China, and she said that mine was marked as shipping from the USA. Who knows how accurate that is, but I'm still hoping to get it by Friday...

Ordered around 4:45AM (reserve) and then completed the order later in the day. 64GB White AT&T.
