“This package was just released from customs and is just now starting its journey. You should see scans starting to come in today to show you the movement of your package. Their is no delays on the package and it is still set to delivery tomorrow.”

This was exactly what mine looks like, good news!

If it’s on hold it’s just catching up to the system.
Yes your phone can be in China today and whereever you are in the US tomorrow.
Don’t waste your time and UPS/Apple time by calling them. They’ll just tell you the above.
This happens every year and it works out just fine.

yeah....i can't imagine customer service is loving everyone calling them just so they can say "does it say 9/21? ok...you'll get it 9/21"

9/28-10/5 delivery window has shipped!

What's interesting is my email from Apple said delivery on 9/28. But UPS.com says delivery is 9/24. Having it delivered to a UPS CC center and confirmation there says pick up 9/24 and will be held until 9/28. We'll see if 9/24 really happens.

Yes they say it's just a system error and to go by the date on UPS tracking

Same situation here, if my order gets delayed I will be in trouble as I am leaving the us on the 23rd and not coming back for maybe a year.

Anyone has been able to talk to apple regarding this issue?

According to Flightradar24... mine should be leaving Louisville at either 3:00 or 4:10 today, as those are the only UPS flights into my UPS hub. Getting antsy now!
