Still stuck on Preparing for shipment here. White 32gb Att ordered @6am Friday. Zero info on ups site. Oh well.

UPS Trick Now Works
I am also stuck in "Preparing For Shipping" on the Apple Store site, (and was) with UPS "Track by Reference" not working until now.
Tried the "Track by Reference" routine a minute ago and UPS now shows an "in transit / on time shipment" of 10/14/2011.

Mine just showed up on UPS in the Tracking By Reference. I've been trying it since yesterday and it just showed up this morning. Still Preparing For Shipment on Apple's site.
Just keep checking UPS. Eventually it has to show up if it's going to get there by Friday. Mine's still in China.

My second phone just showed up using the UPS trick. The first one is hanging out in KY.

My phone shipped from China, a white 64GB. It left Shenzhen around 4:50pm and I received the email notice 6:48 am this morning. 
It should be delivered on Friday. Looks like I am switching threads! Good luck to all and I'm sure it will work out in the short run.

I had used the phone number trick twice over the last day. I used the order number trick and it worked this morning.
I ordered my 64GB as soon as you could preorder with no problems and it just barely shipped from china on the 12th still expected to get it on the 14. My 32GB I ordered I got it preordered about an hour and a half after my 64GB and it shipped yesterday.
I JUST got my shipment notification from Apple, but I've been tracking the package via the order number less two trick found on the forum. I ordered my 4GS White 64GB AT&T from Apple.com as soon as it was made available (and the server stopped crashing). I finished all payment at the same time.
Finally, received the shipment notification and tracking number from Apple. As of now, my phone is in Hong Kong and it still says delivers by end of day on Friday. So now I wait! At least I know its on its way.
iPhone 4S 32GB White - Stuck in Alaska. Anyone else?? Seems Apple/UPS timed shipments better this year to arrive exactly on launch day instead of a day or two ahead.
