Mines still "preparing for shipment" but i'm not worried. They probably have other shipping centers in the US, Ordered something from the store once and it shipped from 4 miles from my house. Ordered 3 am

Same here, I got my 4 a day early so I did have hopes to get the 4S early as well.
Mine's on the way!!! Just found it for the first time on UPS!

Mine shows preparing for Shipment on Apple.com (64GB black), but I found it on UPS using my phone# as a reference and it has arrived in Hong Kong today (Tuesday) and is scheduled to deliver by end of day Friday.
This is on AT&T and I ordered it via the Apple Store app on my Ipad approx 8:30am EST on Oct 7.

Ok, so im not in full panic mode yet but me being the good husband that Iam, I place an order for two phones one for me and one for wifey. Wifeys phone was broken so I ordered hers first then 30 seconds later ordered mine. Both were ordered at launch at 5:00AM EST on apple.com. Hers shows shipped and mine stil shows preparing for shipment. Should I be worried or is the typical? I dont wanna be the one watching her play with her new toy while Im sitting there with my thumb up my butt...
Same thing here. I'm hoping that maybe both phones are being shipped together in one package with only one tracking number, and that the phone that's 'still processing' just hasn't been updated to reflect that. Let's hope that's the case!
yeah, mine says preparing for shipment. But I found it on UPS through the reference, so it shipped.
Mine is still stuck on Preparing for Shipment. I ordered mine around 10AM on Friday. I have tried the UPS/Fedex tracking reference with my cellphone number (the one associated with my account), my mom's cellphone (the main line), and my home phone. Nothing still.

Well my wife's white 64GB phone just arrived in Kentucky according to UPS. It was shipped from China.
My black 64GB phone remains in the Preparing for Shipment state. I sincerely suspect this phone, and many many others, will ship out of some location stateside. We'll know in a day or so.

Same thing here, my girlfriends 64 white is in Kentucky, and my 64gb Black is still preparing to ship, ordered withing 5 minutes of each other (Black was ordered first)
Do you think there's any chance both of my phones are in the same box? What's the weight of your shipment? Mine says 0.40kg.
