Apple.com pre-orders: Who's stuck in "Preparing for Shipment"

I live in Ohio and I cannot find my shipping information on UPS or FedEx. My status hasn't changed for three days, but I'm not worried yet. They (iPhones) must be stateside already? I ordered a white 64GB around 5:43am last Friday. As long as my order is'nt cancelled and I receive the phone on Friday, then I'm cool! :)

This is my problem, But I am in Los Angeles... Perhaps it's possible there is a stock of them in California for some of the west coast... Not needing to physically ship until probably the day before

I'm in Houston and still in pending shipment. I ordered at like 8am Central time and get nothing on fedex and ups.
 
i'm in ohio and ordered as soon as the apple site came online at like 3:30ish am and i did the ups trick and shows its in alaska :)

Exactly my situation...really hope its shipping from the U.S. I want to see my tracking info!
 
You guys are all screwed. My phone is an Alaska as of 2:23pm today. You probably won't get your phone on time, guys. It's ok, though. I'm sure they'll have it to you within a few weeks.
 
Ok. I am done worrying about when my phone will get to me until it does not arrive on Friday evening. Yes, I would like to know where my phone is at and when it might get to me but, I am driven myself crazy going back and forth in between apple.com, ups.com, and macrumors.com.

There is one certainty.. I will not have to wait any longer when it does finally get to my front door step. ;)

In PA as well... Ordered the 32GB Black ATT around 4:50am EST and have been stuck in the "Preparing for Shipment" for a few days! I don't know which carrier is delivering mine, as it just says Postal Mix... Nothing available on UPS or Fedex either! Not too worried... yet! :D
 
So I pre-ordered two phone on Apple.com around 6am EST. I ordered one 32GB black and one 32GB white. I have received a shipment notification email for the black one but not the white one. My sister pre-ordered a 32GB white as well and she hasn't received a shipment email either.

Bad sign?
 
I got somthing on UPS

I finally got something on ups using the Order number trick without zip code but I'm not sure if its mine or not cause it says it's destined for Brisbane CA and I'm on the east coast

from iowa made purchase at 5:45 am last friday and still in prepare for shipping. Next door neighbor ordered at 8:30 on friday morning and his is in Hong Kong.

What is the UPS trick ? Help needed
 
Mine isn't showing up on UPS or FedEx...tried several times. Not really worried, but it's definitely bugging me. Wish I could at least know 100% that it's on the way.

Well, IF your phone is shipping UPS go here:

http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html

Fill in the country and zip code. In the reference field try your cellphone number (like 1234567890) or your apple order number but leave off your last 2 numbers off the order number.

Try the same with FEDEX.

I got mine, 12 hours after I found the UPS tracking number using the cellphone number in the tracking by reference number page.

i took off the last two numbers from my order # and it says its shipping to LAS VEGAS ?

CONFUSED
