Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

Ok, so after having signed up for the my ups account or whatever it is, and not being able to sign the waiver to have it left at the door, I contacted UPS. She told me that it is apple who put the restriction on and that I have to contact them. So I contacted apple and the customer serv. rep told me that with the iPhones, someone has to be there to sign for it. She was apologetic about it, but said there was nothing she could do, and that UPS will try three times to deliver it. Guess I'm just posting in case anyone was finding themselves in a similar boat, figured I would save you the hassle of going through the wait times I did.
 
Funny mine was on UPS59 that's heading to Ontario also but it's being shipped out to me in FL. I thought it would've went to Nashville as well.

Apple will provide a pre-sign form on the website, after your order changes from Preparing to Ship to Shipped. At least every other order I've ever got from them has.
 
My phones delivery date just changed from by end of day to by 10:30 :) Super pumped

mine also showed 934pm departure. but flight UPS 069 took off 2 hours earlier (7pm vs 9pm), and the the earlier flight matches the arrival scan of my iphone... so it looks like my 934pm departure was on UPS 069

I changed the numbers to all 1's (not sure how valuable a complete serial number is, but I changed it just in case). I tried searching how to figure out what info a serial number could get me, but came up short. Can anybody help me out?

My Sprint 32gb Slate iPhone just left Nashville for Fayetteville, AR at 3:06 PM.

The apple store still says "Preparing for Shipment"

You should be able to call after the first infonotice from UPS and pick it up at the distribution center... or you can talk to your UPS guy this week and let him know what's up... in my experience, they've always been really cool and even circle back later in the day to try and catch me at 5PM as opposed to 10AM when I order wine. Making him/her cookies helps too.
