I've gotten bad enough to the point where I'm replying to this thread and checking my tracking obsessively while at the gym :p

But it's nice to finally see my phone left Alaska at 1258. :D

For the record, I hate that Apple launches all their products on Fridays (from what I remember)... It just makes work drag all week. Lol

YAY!@#!@#!@# I CAN FINALLY TRACK..... YAY!!!!

UPS2997 lands in Louisville in 40 minutes-ish

I have it pulled up, my comment was in regards to another person whose tracking info showed the 12:58 am departure scan from Anchorage but also showed arrival in Louisville... So I was saying I had similar info, but no arrival glitch for me

Did anyones status change back to processing from preparing for shipment? Mine did that and it is back at processing now.

Ordered 16GB Black, ATT at 841 am on the 14th. "ships in 2 weeks" Delivery Oct 5....Should I cancel and brave the lines?

Or...should I just hold up? Does anyone have any idea as to if it may come earlier and Apple is just covering themselves and being safe?

I'm a white AT&T 32GB pre-ordered from Apple. I haven't been given an individual tracking number yet (still in the prep state), and I cannot get one by using my phone number as a reference.

I do have a serial number on support, and I can track a shipment using the order number minus the last two digits. I'm on the shipment already referenced that arrived in Louisville last night from Anchorage, via ZhengZhou, HK, and Incheon. I'm guessing that what is being tracked there is a pallet (or number of pallets) full of phones that are being split up at some level in Louisville, since it's a huge UPS hub.

Yeah i used my phone number that was associated with my billing address. It pulled up two packages but both of them with the same tracking number.

Probably a scanning error that will be corrected at some point, otherwise you make get a bonus :)

Weird.. Notice how my tracking shows an arrival scan in Louisville 51 minutes (4 hours and 51 minutes considering timezone difference) before the departure scan in Anchorage:

Anchorage, AK, United States 09/18/2012 12:58 A.M. Departure Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/18/2012 12:07 A.M. Arrival Scan
Anchorage, AK, United States 09/17/2012 3:06 P.M. Arrival Scan

Mine shows the same thing.

Just jumping back on this morning.

I noticed some with this "issue". Hopefully the phones are in Louisville, maybe the departure scan from Alaska never processed on time.

Understood. It's for staging purposes I would imagine, later today (probably sometime tonight EDT) UPS/Apple will begin breaking everything apart to start hitting the destinations they need to.

KDSF approach for any who are ultra interested http://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=KSDF Listen for UPS2997

Finally!!

Got a status update.

Been trying to get online update for the last day and a half and reading the boards for a hint of a better reference number. Just tried using my home phone number in UPS and got a hit!

I ordered two phones. One from the Apple website around Friday 3:15 Eastern (32MB black). The second phone from the Verizon website around 10AM Eastern (64MB black).

My Apple order just came up in UPS. Right now my phone is in Nashville Tennessee and is slated to deliver by 3PM on 9/21! Of course that's the phone I ordered for my wife!

Now if I could just get an update from Verizon I'd be all set.

Hang in there fellow members of the cult called Apple. Our day will come! And by that I mean, Friday!! (And soon after for the faithful who didn't make the first cut.)

That is weird. Based on what I'm seeing, the flight hasn't landed yet!

Any phone number show up in the list of reference numbers on the tracking page? (same place the order number is).
