looks like apple is waiting to give shipping notices for the phones that in the the US until they actually ship for delivery or a local hub. I think the only people who are getting the "shipped" on apple.com are people who's phones are coming from china.

Weird.. Notice how my tracking shows an arrival scan in Louisville 51 minutes (4 hours and 51 minutes considering timezone difference) before the departure scan in Anchorage:

Did you originally schedule it that way? or did you have UPS change it?

Hmm, mine shows the Anchorage departure scan of 9/18/12 12:58 AM as well, but shows no arrival in Louisville, KY yet.
I don't think anyone has there Apple order status changed to shipping yet, but someone clever learned how to search the UPS system to find phones allocated to an order and are moving via UPS. If the phone isn't moving or in a UPS pile for ship, you won't be able to find it.
What does being 800 miles from you have to do with anything. With 2 million phones ordered last week, there will be phones delivered all over the country.

If you use the 7 digits of your order number, those aren't unique. If you used your phone number and it shows two, that is rare. The UPS system is fallible, however.
No. If it listed your address, thieves could randomly enter tracking numbers and intercept deliveries.
Yeah i used my phone number that was associated with my billing address. It pulled up two packages but both of them with the same tracking number.
Sprint 16gb White ordered at 3:25EST finally shipped using UPS reference. My serial number also showed up on apple support. I'm rather excited for not being around Friday to get it haha.
I changed it about 5 minutes after I originally placed the order on Apple.com, while it was still processing. I was on the fence for a few minutes, but then remembered no one would be home during delivery time on Friday. I wouldn't be able to pick it up on the weekend, and I'm leaving for a business trip early Monday morning until Wednesday night. I would've had to wait until next Thursday had I not changed it! Yes, a bit OCD of me, but that's just me thinking ahead
I guess I will add my phone to the list since i've been constantly refreshing this thread lol.
