Oh I meant I changed it at Apple.com; I wouldn't worry about what Verizon has, as long as Apple has the right address. Also I realized I am switching to Verizon, so maybe it was also Verizon who was dropping the apt number for me.
My card has not been charged. Apple site still says "processing items", deliver 9/21.
From what i've been told, Verizon will not allow the phone to ship unless the billing address on verizon and the shipping address of the phone match. Verizon had my billing address minus the apartment number and Apple has the full shipping address... Kind of worried what kind of confusion that might cause.
I am probably one of the first orders... My confirmation email from Apple says 12:01am.

Looks like most international orders are preparing for shipment, while most USA orders still processing. Probably a lot depends on getting authorizations from carriers, distance to travel, etc etc.
My card has been charged by Apple.
Also managed to have the upgrade fee waived.

Yep , I got my waived as well . I called told them I've been a loyal customer since 2003 and to look at my account that I haven't had any issues with them since then. They credit me $47 into my account ! = )

It's somewhat irritating that a lot of people woke up (or stayed up) and couldnt get an order through for 1 to 2 hour after the official start and now have October delivery dates.
But I could go to att.com right now, 9 hours later and get it Sept. 21st.
Hopefully Apple has the supply to get the early birds their phones on the 21st.
Upgrade fees waived as well. Ordered 2 16 gb (black and white) thru the apple app store and had been an AT&T customer since they were still Pacbell and Cingular.
Neither my card has been charged, nor has my order changed. I hope I get it on the 21st.. I only was about to order about 25-30ish minutes after the orders came online though.
