You are right, the ups site says Express which would mean by 10:30 ..

The system just populates this information. Do not expect express, next day, overnight, etc to get there early. These are special. They get there when they get there...

Since I needed my address changed, Apple put in a request and UPS accepted the request buttt now instead of Friday, I'll most likely receive it Monday. The lady said they won't know for sure until their tracking info from Louisville is updated.

You should just ask them to hold for pickup. That way you can pick it up Friday instead of waiting all weekend.

ups is impossible to deal with. awaiting my ups "infonotice" note on friday meaning ill have to wait until monday to get it. because apple forced it to be shipped to my att account's billing address, but who the **** is home at 10:30am on a friday?

You can presign once apple marks your phone as shipped.

Because their system requires it. Just like Apple marked some shipments with holiday shipping. Just because they needed to check off an existing box in their system doesn't mean apple couldn't contract for a custom service.
