Ordered at 3:05AM, received e-mail confirmation at 3:18AM, credit card charged at 6:21AM, waiting for the tracking number now!!

AT&T 16GB Black - iPhone 5 :D
 
Change Payment Method?

Got 2 iPhones - one with the Apple Store on my iPhone and other with my MacBook Air - but realized I should have paid with AMEX to get the warranty. How can I change payment method? (I went on "Your Account" in the store but it didn't work).

Totally, I wasn't sure if my work would actually go for $50 for covering my data plan, but $30 for unlimited was a great thing to see go through. Now I just hope the 2 week estimate is wrong...

Are you sure they billed you? Or did they put a temporary hold on your card for the amount of the phone? If so that's the first I've heard of Apple charging and taking the money before an item has shipped.
 
I tried ordering about 3:15. Apple website was not responding, was getting frustrated. I looked at rumors and saw that Apple Store App was way to go. I had 1 unsuccessful attempt on my iPhone, switched to iPad App and it went through. Very quick and easy on the App. Unlimited Data plan carried over without issue. Order went through about 3:27.
My status just changed to processing with 9/21 ship.

Uh oh, looks like my status is changing. "Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later." It did say processing for 9/21 delivery before. We'll see what happens...
 
My order is "processing" and my credit card was charged the full amount! Delivers September 21. Ordered at 3:10am on the Apple Store app.
 
Processing. September 21 delivery. Not sure about CC yet as Discover's site just so happens to be down.

Side question: Under "Rate Plan" on my order status it only mentions Unlimited data and iPhone messaging unlimited. No mention of voice, but it was obviously selected while I was ordering. Just wondering if this is normal?

When you changed your address, was it still under 'we've received your order' or had it changed to processing? And you did it through the order status page? The system is not letting me change anything during "we've received" and have to wait till processing.

I guess it will take some time since they'll have a ton of CCs to process.

yeah it was literally like 30 seconds later. I didn't notice what step of the order process it was though.
 
Mine was at the processing stage shortly after ordering at 3:whatever AM. When I woke up and checked the status the delivery date was still 9/21 but there was a message stating the credit card transaction failed.

I signed into apple.com and reauthorized my card and it went through. I hate waking up to scares like this but all is well again. I checked my cc account and it has been charged.
 
so i ordered mine last night and got a confirmation email saying that it would delivery on the 21st.

but if i go to apple.com and check my status on the order..it is saying 2 weeks now. like oct 5..! is that the ship date if i were to order another one? or did my ship date somehow slip AFTER i ordered the phone and got confirmation of shipping on the 21st?

This is what it says for me. I ordered at 3:18AM ET. I hope I don't get the shaft

Edit: never mind...it finally just worked
 
I woke up at 2:25 am central time and fire up Apple's website. I ordered my phone, got 9/21 confirmation, and was back asleep by 2:35 am... It did not seem slow at all, which really surprised me.

Time to stalk the crap out of the FedEx tracking number when I get it.

but when i woke up this morning...on apple.com under my order status it is now saying 2 weeks!
