Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

2 Minutes and 30 Seconds

Began order process at 12:01:30 PST and received order confirmation e-mail at 12:04AM.

Helps if you have a MacBook Pro Retina.

AT&T 64Gb White
 
Ordered last night with some problems (Safari!) but got it done by 3:20 or so.

My credit card was charged this morning already (about 8am) and status still show delivery for 9/21
 
i had no problems ordering on my mba..

the problem happened after i went back to sleep and before I woke up this morning..
for some reason it says oct 5 delivery now!!

i still have my email that says the 21st...wth

Mine has gone down about 4 times now and comes back, telling the same story. Processing, Delivers 9/21. I'm gonna be pissed if mine changes like some of you.

When did you preorder it? Was it between 12:01am PST and 1:01am PST?
 
yes..i got up at 3am (I'm in nc too) and placed my order on apple.com

got a confirmaiton email and 1 dollar charged on my debit card. my confirmation email from last night says delivery sept 21st.

when i woke up this morning to check the status on apple.com it says delivery expected oct 5!

i really hope i didnt wake up in the middle of the night for nothing...when i went back to bed everything was perfect..

Wow that makes no sense.. I hope it's just an error on their part. I don't see why it would be pushed back for you if you did it with the rest of us in the 3am time frame. Mine still says 9/21 but I will keep checking it. Im a little scared now.... 😕
 
Ordered around 3:50am (EST) Confirmation email at 3:51am. Used AMEX for the extended warranty. 🙂

I woke up around 2:50am EST to place my order and decided I didn’t need to order another new iPhone like I had the past 3 years in a row. Well, I couldn’t fall back asleep because all I could think about was a new iPhone. Popped open my MBP and placed my order from Apple at around 4:30am EST.

I just changed my shipping address and the order is processing with a delivery date of 10/5. I’m just going to stick it out. With work being so busy, the 5th will be here before I know it.

Same here, I really don't have to have it on the release date, I am just pissed that Apple's email say one thing, and the website says another. I was up till 1:30AM PDT, and I get up at 5AM PDT for work. 😡
 
White 32 AT&T. Email confirmation delivery by the 21st @ 3:45am. HAD to go through Apple store to add a new line to my mobile share account because I didn't qualify for less than a $549 upgrade.
 
At 11:59 pm PST, I clicked on the Apple Store app and the entire purchase process was complete in 90 seconds. Earlier in the day I ordered a lightning USB cable to test it out so I knew what to expect. I received an email confirmation about 1 minute after the order was placed. My order status is processing and shows a 9/21 delivery date. I will always use the Apple Store app from now on. Really excited to get my 32 gig black.
 
Ordered a White iPhone 5 AT&T 64gb and Black iPhone 5 AT&T 16gb.

Anyone know how changing the shipping address works? Does it have to match my billing address or anything? Or can I change to any address without hang up?
