Just totally curious here...does anyone know when Apple actually will ship out their iPhone 5? I am assuming they will probably do it early next week.
 
I was finally able to get the order status page to open.

Both phones that I ordered (@ 3:17 and 3:23 via Apple's iPhone app) are still in the 'Processing' stage. Delivers 9/21 via Standard Shipping.
 
Almost Had Heart Attack

I ordered two 32GB black iPhones at 12:02 AM PDT via the Apple App Store app. I received a confirmation email and went to bed. I was checking the order this morning and saw red text around each phone, "We're sorry. We were unable to obtain authorization on your card. Please update your information." I'm guessing they double tapped my bank card or something. I updated cards and it still shows 9/21. Whew!
 
Ordered a black 64gb 5 at about 6:30 am eastern. Got the email quickly afterwards (6:33) still at the. We have received your order phase.

2 week shipping for phone. October for the adapter

No shipping date yet.
 
After an hour or two of it saying "We're sorry. Something went wrong...", I finally got my order status screen up. Said both phones were processing. Was able to adjust the shipping on one of them, but now I'm back to the We're sorry screen. Ugh. Why do there have to be millions of other people doing the same thing I'm doing and crashing the site? Ha.

Edit: Was able to get on and change both of my shipping addresses...still not sure how it's going to show up in my ATT account, but I can work out those details later. Yay!

Ordered my iP5 at 12:05am PST via the Apple store. Just changed my shipping destination. My BofA checking account is processing the full amount of the order . . . Done.
 
I was literally 1 step away from finishing my transaction with Apple when
I noticed the 2 week notice @ 5am EDT. Popped over to ATT and got the 21st. My thought is if it's not here on the 21st then I can raise hell since my receipt says 21st.
 
If you guys get stuck on apple.com, just use the Apple Store app. It's slow, but still working....
 
This is a time when it's good to live in CA...much easier to stay up until midnight than wake up at 3 AM. Sorry East Coasters.

I had Apple up on my computer, AT&T on my wife's, and was able to place orders for one black and one white 32GB AT&T model. I had to place two separate orders because it wouldn't let me place two subsidized phones in the same cart. Got two Apple confirmation emails with a 9/21 arrival date and the whole process was done by 12:20 AM. AT&T NEVER came up the entire time I was trying to purchase.

I just looked online this morning and my credit card has been authorized for both orders. Perfect. After spending over 3 hours trying to preorder the new iPad in March, this was a snap.
 
Does anyone remember when their pre-ordered iphone 4S shipped from China last year?

Pre-order earlier Friday morning. When did you get the tracking # it had shipped?
 
It took about 6 hours for mine to go from order received to processing, so just have patience...I'm sure it's fine.

I wasnt worried about the order, was concerned about the delivery date slipping as I ordered it just before it slipped to 2 weeks.

But, it changed to processing and still says delivers on the 21st. :D

Now to call Apple and fix my shipping address. For some reason it wouldn't put my apartment number in despite my Verizon account having it in there.

I ordered at 3:13 CST and I got a delivery date of 2 weeks? Im assuming you are CST?
 
I ordered a white Iphone 5 32gb last night around 12:05am (pacific) through the apple store app. Went really smooth. Had the confirmation e-mail
within a few minutes and went to bed. My e-mail states I should be receiving it on 9/21 Before check out, my AT&T plan defaulted to my unlimited data plan so I didn't have much to think about during checkout.

Can't wait.

Got the acknowledgmnt email right away, it said Available to Ship: 2 Weeks

Now I'm in Processing and it says Delivers Oct 2 via Standard Shipping
 
Was able to login and change shipping address after several tries. Apple customer service not answering calls either.
