Its probably going to get delivered to my house while I'm at school :|
I was going to have it delivered to my work (which is an iPhone repair shop) but I don't want my phone opened and taken apart by the time I get there :p

For everyone trying to look up their tracking on UPS, I noticed when Apple gave me my phones serial number on here https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do thats when I was able to look up my package on UPS by using my mobile number for shipment reference.

Yep, your serial number showing up on https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do seems to correlate with when your tracking information becomes available on UPS.

I could not find my phone in either, but when my phone was finally showing up on UPS the serial finally populated on Apple's support website.

Well think of how the sacrifice of your phone will benefit all the nerds wanting to know every last detail of the iPhone's guts. :D :p

My serial number is showing on Apple's site, but I have been unable to find my tracking information.

So there goes that theory. :)

Go to ups.com, click tracking, and track by reference. Type in your phone number. Your Tracking # will be at the top of the page.

I'm confused. Where do I put my number and what do I put for "shipment reference"

Anybody know why it would show that I have two packages coming? Each one has a different tracking number, but when I enter either tracking number it shows that two packages are coming, they both weigh 0.90. I only ordered one phone?

how did you search for your tracking info? Everytime I searched for my UPS info nothing came up until the serial number was on Apples site.

I have the same thing. And it's weird, bc scan times are different on the 2 of them.

On my UPS tracking # under "weight" it used to say .90 kg.
I just checked and now it says .40 kg.
Is my iPhone 5 starving to death sittin' around China?

Your phone # is what you enter for shipment reference. Dunno if you actually have to enter the destination country & zip code, but I did and it worked fine. Still showing "preparing for shipment" on Apple's site.

For shipment reference put your phone number. Thats it.

Put your number in as the shipping reference, that's all you should need. I simply used my home phone number that is tied to my address.

My serial number is up on Apple's website, no luck doing any of this to find the tracking. :(

Doubtful

I was completely full of excitement when I got up at 1:55 am CST to order the phone. I placed the order and everything went through smoothly and complete by 2:15am. Recently checked UPS and my phone is in-transit, on time, and in ZhengZhou China and I also have my SN from the apple support page (week 37).
Now, I am bit apprehensive about the phone because I usually wait a couple of months to purchase new hardware. Besides the LTE network (i will go to an AT&T store to compare the speed to my 3G iPhone 4) and the faster processor the main difference that I see is iOS 6.
My iPhone 4 can be update to iOS 6... so I am wondering if the differences between the phone will be enough to make me keep it.
Could this be an early sign that I will get cold feet when I get married? lol

And I remembered that once we have the SN, we can check some production details here: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html

Yeah, that's a nice site - I use it all the time to get details about my Macs. Speaking of this phone, I've got a 64GB White and a 64GB Black on order... One of those was produced in Chengdu, the other must have been from Zhengzhou.

Which one is white, and which one is black? I'm curious. Here's my details; can someone with only a white or only a black confirm which factory theirs was made in?

Serial number: DNPJC...F38W
Production week: 36 (September)
Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)

Serial number: F17JD...F38Y
Production week: 37 (September)
Factory: F1 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn)
