Has anyone received an email from Apple saying "Your iPhone has shipped"? I know some people found their tracking numbers by other means, but I am curious if anyone has received the shipping notification from Apple.
So the charge for my iPhone was pending on my account all weekend, now it's not there anymore?
Luckily my phone showed up on my support profile this morning, but still no tracking info yet!
Because they put the charge on first to verify that you have the funds. They actually bill you when they ship. Not sure when that will be given that none of us who are tracking our phones via UPS and know they've been shipped have received a shipping notice from Apple or have an order status that says Shipped.
I was able to use the UPS Will Call tool to redirect my shipment to a UPS center (will be at work when shipment would show up) and noticed I could pick up my package between the 18th and the 24th. This must be wrong...

Apple.com free accessories for delaying my 9/21 shipment
Well unfortunately (or fortunately) for me. I ordered 2 phones opening night at about 3:45am EST. Received both confirmations of my 32gb ATT and my 16gb ATT iphone 5's within minutes confirming 9/21 shipments for both.
However the next day when I checked order status my 32gb ATT phone is preparing for shipment for 9/21 and the 16gb ATT phone is committed for 10/5. WTF?
I called Apple today to complain and they apologized and saw what I explained, but couldn't explain or provide any correction. They repeatedly offered that they would compensate me with some accessories I had planned on buying.
So I got Qty 3 Lightning to USB Cable, and qty 1 Lightning to 30-pin Adapter for free. $86 savings on a bunch of adapters I was begrudgingly going to have to buy.
Add to the $250 credit I got from ATT about the $250 up charge for upgrading from my iphone 4s to iphone 5 within 12 months. This upgrade is turning out pretty nice. I've also got a buyer for my iphone 4s which will at least cover the cost of my 32Gb upgrade charges.
So all in all, I've upgraded 2 phones on ATT for about $200. And just need to buy a couple of car chargers.

She's super busy this weekend (4 day weekend for us Jews
) with synagogue, homework, babysitting, etc... I made it quite clear that I like her, but I overheard her telling my friend (someone who she's not close with) that she likes me only as a friend. I'm pretty sure that she just said that to keep this on the down low because it definitely feels like she's leading me on... Highschool problems, I know... I consider myself to pretty attractive, now that I've lost 13.7lbs by biking 2.3k miles since April. I'm one of those road cyclists that all drivers hate. I consider red lights and stop signs to be suggestions.
If you google the model number I gave you, it takes you to a page on bestbuy's site about the 32gb white ATT iPhone 5.
I'm working from work and also splitting my time, hopefully devoting more than 60% to work. On the other hand, given the many weekend hours of unpaid work, I don't feel too guilty...
how did you use the will call tool without having an info notice? i need to redirect my shipment to a UPS store too cause i won't be home on Friday.
I'd do that if I could but most of my professors require anyone taking notes on a computer to sit up front so they can make sure you are taking notes and not doing something you are not supposed to, like refreshing a UPS screen. You'd think that in a college class they would trust you to be adults and do what you are supposed to do. And my mind is telling me I'm supposed to be tracking a package.
You have to register for "UPS My Choice". The free membership allows you to send it to a UPS center for pickup or a UPS Store (for a $5 fee).

I tried this using my choice and it told me I couldn't pick it up until the 24th. Of course I cancelled that and will allow my roommate to sign for me if it comes while I'm in class. I'll probably be home though, my choice said it will be delivered between 1:30 and 5:30pm so I'll be home by then.

aw bummer, since i just moved to my house in june, apparently my public records haven't been updated in their system yet so they can't verify my identity for me to get UPS My Choice
I called UPS, they said they can't hold until the first delivery attempt has been made. She said to set it up using my UPS My Choice account but the first pickup date was Sept 24, no way!
