I'm from staten island and I have tracking via ups with my phone no,beer but on apple it still says preparing for shipment

I asked who the shipper is and they said Ingram Micro....I would expect them to say Apple. Addison, IL is a UPS Hub I searched it. They said my package was being merged into one.
Ingram has one in Carol Stream, also Chicago, but so are two or three other warehouses.
I'm in Nashville as well. Do you know where this warehouse is? I didn't know we had a big UPS hub. I thought that was in Louisville. I've seen some packages come from Mount Juliet before.

I ordered my iphone 5 at 3:20AM EST but I am not able to see my tracking information via phone number under track by reference. Apple's website says preparing for shipment. And the delivery date is 9/21. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

I have been deducted the full$ amount and yet I can't my my tracking number and on apple it says Preparing For Shipment....
Sing in and click the tracking tab --> My choice tab. Then on the right there is a preferences link. The delivery instructions option you can waive it.
The site is horrible so don't worry.
So I was one of the guys that got up at 3am EST to preorder last Friday and spent an hour between three devices trying to complete the order at apple.com. I wasn't successful until 4:03am and have a delivery estimate of 10/5, but when I just checked my bank account and on pending charges I see Apple is charging the $99 portion of my order for the AppleCare, but not the phone portion. I had added AppleCare later in the afternoon on Friday. I didn't think they would charge anything until the phone was shipped. I'm confused what is going on. I also have a pending charge for the separate order I made last Wednesday for the lightning dock adapter. That is also not supposed to ship until October, so I am really confused!

I just got off the phone with UPS after calling multiple times to make sure what I was being told was true.
So who ever ordered more than two iPhones and can find tracking information using the reference tool and has Addison, IL as the latest scan most likely your package is being merged into one.
Amazon is doing the merging (I know it sounds weird but that is what the UPS people told me). Hopefully be later tonight we get some updates on our tracking but we still have four days before 9/21 so don't worry.

Mine too lol and I've even seen ups come as late as 830 in the middle of the summer here in nyc, staten island to be exact but according to the ups tracking where it shows the service type it is coming Ups worldwide express and that says orders come between 1030 or 12 So hopefully that's true in this case
My ups tracking is now showing delivery "by end of day," which in my neighborhood has been known to be as late as 7 pm.

Ordered 2 32 GB (both White) around 4:45 AM EDT via Apple Store app (been hitting myself with a brick replica since 9/14 for not waking up @ 3 AM EDT)!!
Today, went to TheShack closest to me, and pre-ordered 2 iPhones 32 GB -- 1 each of W&B... if TheShack doesn't come through by next week, I can always use their GCs for something else (or at least that's how I'm justifying to DW)...
For the time being, I plan to keep my Apple order... in the hope that Apple ships out both puppies some time this week... call me an eternal optimist!

Hopefully be tonight you can look up tracking through the reference number method or if Apple sends out tracking. I am assuming late tonight or tomorrow we should get tracking numbers from Apple.
