Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Does this mean I can pick it up at the UPS store?

This is all very frustrating, but we are still supposed to receive our devices earlier than anticipated from our pre orders. The thing that will irritate me the most is if the tracking is 100% screwed up and my 6 Plus isn't delivered because it's not been pre-signed for yet due to my not expecting it until Monday.

At least you have some updates. I am getting really tired of nothing but logging in to ups to see this crap. I was teased with 10/1 10/2 and the other day moved to 10/6. I don't even believe it will be here 10/6. I am so frustrated with this crap. Yet I would still be getting my phone 1 week earlier than I initially was told. Maybe I should just wait for a text delivery and stop tracking. I feel like its bad for my health

No it means you need to pick it up from a UPS location, (where the trucks depart from). The pickup from Store option is different from UPS location and I think costs like $5 unless you pay the $40 for My choice Plus or whatever it is.

I see. So it's available today at the UPS facility then? I thought they would have sent a message that it arrived there. I guess my 6+ is there now...? :)

I've got the exact same updates. It's getting old to not get out of China.

Been following this thread for a couple days.

Also suck in China since the 26th. Highly doubt it'll be here on the 6th as promised. Final destination - St. Louis, MO. What sucks is I could go pick it up in the store now if I hadn't pre-ordered. **FML**

yeah thats the worst thing we all pre order and some random person can just walk in and buy one:mad:

still preparing to ship, so i didn't even get into the shipping nightmare yet wow

My phone likely was not actually on the planes to Anchorage and Louisville. Fair guess that Apple associated my tracking number with a certain pallet of phones. That pallet was scanned in ZZ and eventually made it to Louisville. In Louisville, all of the packages on the pallet were inspected and UPS found the discrepancy.

Who knows if that fault lies on UPS or Apple.
 
My phone is scheduled to be delivered today, but has been sitting in Mount Hope ON, about an hour away from me since 4am. The status doesn't show out for delivery yet and it's past 1pm. Does anybody know if there's still any chance it will make it to me today?

I have the same import scan as you do. My phone arrived in Louisville on Sunday at 6:33 am and has been stuck there untill just now. Maybe that's why it took so long? But why did other come in and leave so fast with later shipping dates. Still boggles my mind. On the bright side I should be posting my good news tomorrow on my 6+.

hahahah yeah right, no way it is showing up at my door today, especially when it isn't even at my local UPS depot, nor 'out for delivery'. Guess I'll probably get it tomorrow.

But I am fine with that, I ordered a case and screen protector off of amazon and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow or friday, and I don't want to use my new phone without a case or protector.

Mine is stuck in Anchorage, supposedly.

I counted 8 flights by UPS yesterday (09-30) from Anchorage to Louisville and only two today (10-01). :(

I still have a 10/02 delivery date...so far.
 
My iPhone 6+ 128g arrived in Anchorage yesterday at 1:30 and nothing has happened since. Doesn't look like it has even gotten through customs.

I think the government is holding them up with the DOJ upset about the encryption, but I'm normally paranoid.

Doubt it will make it from Anchorage to Austin by scheduled delivery date tomorrow.

Not likely...your post shows your request submitted on 9/30 with the previous update showing the package in AK...the tracking should indicate the expected delivery date...that is the date that it will be at your UPS facility for you to pick up...

My phone is broken so I have no way to get the text from apple
but my scan is the exact same as yours and ups tracking says
10/06 what should I trust?
should I pre-sign my paper and leave it already??
