Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

For those of us who suddenly "missed the plane" here's a past schedule of this last week from Incheon to Anchorage and back. If I'm correct, hopefully the next one will leave some time in the morning our time (if this is the plane and if it will be going to Alaska)

Had an original Delivery date of 10/13 - 10/20. Like all of you it shipped and now is expected to deliver sooner then originally stated. (Which was super exciting by the way!)

I assume the delivery date from the Apple email you got is contradicting the delivery date from UPS for most of you? My email said 10/3 but UPS, after several changes to the date, now says 10/06.

Anyways, this is the status of my phone.

It is kind of funny to think of all of us on this forum going nuts, and we will lose interaction with each other in a week or two, but in the meantime, all of our phones are snuggled together on a pallet in a warehouse in Korea... Globalization eh guys???

I'll tell you one thing. I'll never pre-order another Apple product. There are multiple apple stores in the Chicago area with the exact phone I'm waiting for, in stock. I could have just walked in and out without all this tracking.

Ahhh well.. live and learn. Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

but my scan is the exact same as yours and ups tracking says
10/06 what should I trust?
should I pre-sign my paper and leave it already??

I don't know what to believe anymore. I'm going to leave my pre-sign paper on the door and hope for the best.

hahahah yeah right, no way it is showing up at my door today, especially when it isn't even at my local UPS depot, nor 'out for delivery'. Guess I'll probably get it tomorrow.

But I am fine with that, I ordered a case and screen protector off of amazon and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow or friday, and I don't want to use my new phone without a case or protector.

I have the exact same tracking info as you up until it left Alaska. Got to Louisville and Mount Hope a few hours earlier, but now it's still sitting there with yours. Grrr... They can get a phone from Alaska to Southern Ontario in a day, but 4am is just too late for them to drive it down the road 40 mins.

No! It's not available today... It just means that you switched it to pick it up from the UPS store... Sorry for the bad news.

No problem. Judging from others' posts it looks like the turn around time in Anchorage is pretty quick...there don't seem to be many delays from there. I think it's Louisville we have to worry about.

And I'm in Phoenix. It looks like UPS' Louisville to PHX flight departs around 5p and gets into PHX around the same time due to time difference. I don't think that bodes well for the probability of LOU>PHX>My Apartment happening in 1 day.

You on the other hand might be a bit luckier as it looks like the LOU to Philly flight happens early in the AM. Should give the UPS facility plenty of time to get the trucks out w/ your phone in them.

it goes on to chicago right after landing so it may be a little longer. the lady on the phone said to wait for an update from louisville and disregard all others lol so that's what I'm going to do

I hope so too.. considering I was on the same flight as others who ended up in Louisville the same day..

You'd think the flight from China would make it all the way to Louisville without pallets being taken off, but :shrugs:

I personally never use UPS. If I have the option, I always pick Fedex. May cost a bit more, but in this instance there's a reason. lol

I'm on the October 13-24th shipment but I think those thaT had the week prior are getting them now. I'm prolly going tomorrow to the ars to get one and cancel my order
