Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

My order status as of now is "preparing for shipment." My question now is, does Apple send you a tracking number? If so, does it need to be signed for? Yes, but once it ships you can pre-sign for it.
 
Still processing. :confused: I wonder if where you are geographically located makes a difference? I mean maybe until your carriers 'hub' has their supply drop shipped, your order will not click over to preparing for shipping? At least mine still says delivery on the 9/19, so I am confident that it will arrive this Friday, just wish that it would switch over to shipping!
 
Mine is still processing delivery on 9/19 too. Im getting worried now. I ordered 6+ 64gb space grey from apple at 1239pst. Phoenix AZ

Verizon wireless, mine is silver 128 iphone+ and my wife's is gold 64 iphone+

Same. Adding iPhone order now.

This is a nice app if you receive/send a decent number of packages. I tried a few others but like this one the best. Worth the $4.99 (I have no association with the developer, just like the app).

Why would you be worried? You have a 9/19 delivery date.

Whether the status changes to shipped yesterday or Thursday you'll still get your phone 9/19.

I bought the app so long ago I forgot it even was a paid app. It is great, they have a widget for the mac too which is actually free.

Delivery Status is awesome, love the app. Had no idea it could do this.

If you're cheap and have a Mac there is also a free Delivery Status dashboard widget.

Mine's still processing too. No worries, you will definitely receive your phone on launch day.

Some people's status won't change until Tuesday or Wednesday - Apple will next day air it to you if they have to (which I have seen in the past ;) )

For the record I ordered: 6 Plus, 64GB, space grey, AT&T, iPhone Apple Store App with 9/19 confirmation email received at 2:22am CST.

Got a reservation email around 5:20 am 9/12. AT&T silver plus 64. Preparing for shipment as of this morning!! I have no idea when I succeeded with ordering on the app to get the reservation. Sometime between 3:30-4 am. Placed order from reservation at 12:20 pm 9/12. Excited!

Edit: it looks like they charged my card so it's happening.

Little upset that I ordered 26 minutes after the release and a 6+ 128GB is saying delivery on Oct 1-6.. Never had this much trouble getting a phone.
