I checked mine but its telling me im not eligible, but I call Verizon and they say that I have been eligible since March and my other line has been eligibly since July....
The upgrade fee is standard with the phone companies. It doesn't matter when you get a new phone, they will still charge you the fee. T-Mobile might be the only exception.
I am going to Pre-order a 64GB 6+ tonight unlocked t mobile, and if i don't like it i have 14 days or INCASE it is actually locked i can just send it back threw the mail. Either way i get to atleast play around with it without leaving my house to go to the apple store. don't mind waiting if none are in stock after the 14 days if i indeed to return it.

Please help!! I am ordering a gold 64 6 plus from Apple online at 12am. I was going to use an Apple GF for the full amount of the phone. It will cost over $900 with CA tax. I have enough on the GC to pay for it but I was wondering if it would be better to put it on a CC and then return and rebuy with the GC when I get it at the Apple Store. It's like spending cash online and in the event something happened with it during shipping or even if something happened with going missing instore for instore pick-up which I'm sure will be a madhouse on launch day.
I would have no protection unlike a credit card in the event something happened to my phone on delivery.
What would you experts suggest? It's a lot of money if that phone goes missing.

I'm exceptionally nervous this year because I paid to get out of my contract (only 95 bucks but still) so I can get the two year plan started on September 19th as opposed to having to wait until October and have my new two year plan start even later, which would in turn mess up my upgrade eligibility even more two years from now.
But since I did that I feel like I literally paid 95 bucks to gamble. Because if I don't get the preorder tonight and they're all sold out I might as well have waited until October anyway.

Quick question for all of you! My girlfriend and I are on my fathers family plan for Verizon. We are both getting up at 3am to preorder our new iPhones. I have the billing password as well as my fathers last 4 digits of his SSN. Is there anything else I need from him? My girlfriend and I will obviously be paying for our phones ourselves and having them sent to our houses. This is our first time pre ordering so I don't know what the process is like. Thanks !
So I talked to the first apple representative (online specialist) and they said that the preorder would be up at 12:01 Eastern Time. Then macrumors said Pacific Time. So i contacted another apple representative who said there there was no "For sure" time they would begin preorders, only that it would start sometime on the 12th.
Now i've been preordering Iphone's since the 4, and it just seems there is too many "vague" answers being given by apple. Unsure Preorder date, not sure if the new iphones are shipping Friday, Sept. 19th or being delivered. I just want some clarification Apple!

Apple will only ship phones to the billing address in the carriers account. SO I think you will only be able to ship the phones to your father's house. If you want them going to your house change the billing address in verizon!

Or you could just believe what has happened every year. 12:01 pacific time (or a few minutes earlier) and delivers on lunch day.
Probably two things: 1. Servers not bogged down so you can easily place an order 2. Delivery after the 19th.
Does any one know what is the maximum # of phones I can order on 1 account? I need to buy 3 phones total for family that live abroad -- they will all be the T-mobile unlocked versions.
