That computer is pretty far away and even so it still looks pretty big. I honestly can't see that being a 12" screen on that computer. It certainly likes like a 15" screen. I mean look how big it is compared to this guys head and its multiple feet behind him in the shot

Unless they've put a full-size keyboard with the arrow keys and the number pad in a 15" or 17" computer. Definitely been done before in 17" models by other manufacturers. Doesn't sound very Apple-like, though.

There is no way they added keys. Apple has moved away from the long keyboards with the extra numeric keypad almost entirely. You don't even get them with an iMac anymore.

Any nobody questions what's under the sheets? A circular Mac Mini in the works? Seems smaller than a Mac Pro. I believe the Mac Pro is at the back.

Apple even covered desks in its secretive design studio so that cameras could not capture what the company is working on next.

I think the covered desks were there for the cameras. I doubt any future products were within a mile of that room.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't care about thinner anymore. Just give me better battery life and I'll love you long time!

It's so simple, just add your own extra battery to the back of it, and never tear it off.

What would you expect people don't need that much battery to do with the extra weight if the phone is already heavy and thick to begin with?

Telephoto compression

When I first saw the video I was like "This macbook seems quite BIG and certainly more than 12 inches".

Its seems that the screen is at least 2 meters away from Bruce Sewell and from that distance, 12 inches should be quite smaller....

Look at the keyboard though, it still goes edge to edge. The photo is tricky, but it's still definitely a MacBook 12"

You can deny it all you want, but that is not a currently released MacBook. Apple is known to give executives pre-release versions of hardware for real world use. And yes, this is the same Apple that leaked the iPhone 4 and PowerMac G5.

A moron employee lost the iPhone at a bar, they didn't leak the iPhone on a highly planned show on national television.

The base below the KB looks very different to me ... ... ... let alone the sharp corners and the bezel... ... ...

How do the corners look different? Zoom in, they're the same, it's just a blurry ass photo that makes it looks blocky.

Why would Apple introduce a machine with a new corner radius when they JUST released the 12 inch MacBook less than a year ago?

Also, the keyboard looks the same, I don't know what you're talking about.

Even if it was a new model what would that even tell us? It will have a keyboard, a screen and look like a laptop... Mind blown.
That they are even working on a larger screened retina MacBook I guess. People have wanted a 14 inch ever since the 12 inch was announced but there's been zero rumors

I don't know guys. It looks like the exact same thing and like someone said, the telephoto lens+angle just made it look different. And the fact that the keyboard is "made to fit the edges perfectly" on the 12 inch MacBook, the keys on this prototype would have to be HUGE! Check it out

That port looks like it's almost the size of the old 40 pin connector lol .. And the "heeeeey!!" in the background is staged hahahaha.. Good one Internet :p:eek:

Just give me the same port layout as the current gen MacBook Pro, swap the Thunderbolt 2 for Thunderbolt 3/USB-C and I'd be a VERY happy man.

I'm sitting here looking at my space grey rMB and the only thing I can't account for is how different the radius is on the upper corners of the screen in that picture vs. what is sitting in front of me.
