Seems like it'll be the day my 9.7" iPad Pro becomes a nice rarity :D hmmm wonder if they'll launch a new pencil? I'm not an artist but may have a go, teach myself, and I think the iPad Pro is good for that.

That's because at the end mate, they put some God awful pop star most of us have never heard off on with dreadful music hahaha.....

Huh , the whole phone is a touch bar, has been since the first one.

Maybe my use of the term "touch bar" was confusing, but the prevalent rumor is the iPhone 8 will have a 5.8" full-screen display that has 5.1" usable area and a .7" area at the bottom that will have contextual buttons to replace the current home button. I was wondering if app developers would have any access to this area in addition to the 5.1" screen display for things like video scrubbing or tool selection, and if so would Apple give them guidance at WWDC on how to program their apps to take advantage of it.

Bring back Stump!

Maybe Apple will announce Jony Ive is leaving the company to concentrate on his new career in receiving awards.

Excuse you!!! That is, Sir Jonathan Ive to you! He has his Knighthood. :p

Tim is a bit robotic and when he presents it feels very scripted. Phil comes across as arrogant (how could anyone still use a 5 year old computer??). More Craig is the best thing they could do!
what could be worst than having them finish keynote 30 minutes earlier? lol

It's one of those years i'm due for everything if the tech is right, i'm actually really excited this year and 2018, please dont fudge it up Apple

iPad Pro
Iphone
Watch
ATV
Macbook Pro
MacPro

Unless there are new iMacs in that line-up, then no. Not the most exciting in years. Next year Apple should roll out the new Modular Mac Pro - that'll make it the most exciting WWDC in ages. :D

Honestly the keynotes are boring. All I care about are the products.

Talk about history.... Talk about sales... Video of new store... Brings random person on stage... Yap yap... Repeat... Products.

Good god that looks ugly.
Enough gimmicks like Continuity, APFS, Swift, 3D Touch. These are not innovations. APFS is literally useless as is 3D Touch, which is king of useless. We need real innovation like a dynamic Home screen with live widgets. A weather widget is vital. If a forecast is updated I need to be alerted IMMEDIATELY. Way more important than APFS or more dynamic iMessage. Fact is, iOS is BORING. It needs more fun.

I would love something like this:

iOS looks boring with its horrible Fisher-Price icons. I wish Apple would focus more on SOFTWARE for productivity. Their first-party apps are so boring and lacking. Apple insists on cluttering up the Home screen with rows and rows of icons that are literally useless: Reminders, Wallet, iBooks, News, Podcasts, TV, Activity, Health, Home, iCloud Drive, FaceTime, Voice Memos, Compass, Stocks, iMovie, GarageBand, Music Memos, Clips, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iTunes U, Trailers, Stocks, Friend my Friends, Find my iPhone, Tips. All garbage. We need REAL apps, Apple. REAL. APPS.

Yes! Another beautiful event surrounded by my fellow wonderful MR folks. We'll be bashing, criticizing, laughing, oohing, aawwing, praising, and having a blast. I can't wait!

Yep, I tend to agree. They may release updated Macbooks during WWDC, but I doubt they'll be mentioned during the Keynote (and if they are it will be only briefly).

The most I see coming out of this Conference will be possibly the Siri speaker and updated specifications for the MacBooks. The iPad doesn't seem logical at this point and again, the developer conference has exponentially grown these last five years and it's primarily been strictly about the developers.

since we already have TB3 and nvidia drivers, no need to have Nvidia dGPU...amd are greater to be built into the mac
If you attach an eGPU to a MBP via TB3, you're turning it into a desktop. I already have a Hackintosh as desktop (I wanted a Mac, but last summer there wasn't any updated MacPro, nor any NVIDIA-based Mac, and I need CUDA for development, so I didn't have any other option but building a Hackintosh).

Besides, eGPU isn't officially supported by Apple, and if you read the instructions written by users who were able to get it working, you'll realize you're into a Hackintosh-like unsupported arena.

So yes , I insist I'd happily buy an NVIDIA-based MBP.

If they insist on not using NVIDIA, I'll wait.

If WWDC holds hardware along side debuting the latest software, this could be a bigger event more than others think. Primarily being the iPad being one of the bigger topics and then a smart speaker to follow. The smart speaker would make the most sense and allowing developers to have First hands on experience with it during the week.

I doubt they will have hardware. I hope they just up the game on content , like 4K video and HD audio . I'm hoping for the second, made my Choice to go with tidal simple

Agreed. It seems to be more of a reoccurring theme every year that Apple is expected to debut hardware during this conference, when that's really the last thing it's supposed to be about. I think services and OS demos are the primary, next to the developers themselves. Although, I could care less about Tidal.

Just in case you miss it...
An embarrassing 'amusing' film, Tim talking about how great everything is, another film, but this one is 'inspiring', some blokes get up and talk about iOS, some macOS demos, a pointless recap, end.

 should not chase other companies. Microsoft are constantly chasing. Even their keynotes are chasing Apple. They even try to make Panos (Upset door to door salesman) Panay , into a Steve Jobs/Ive figure.

Apple to keep an eye left and right but move forward and chase the future not knee jerk respond to other companies
