I put my order for the 42 mm Silver Sport with pink band 1203AM on Friday 4/10, got confirmation at 1208AM.
Still showing "Processing Order" and no credit card charge showing...

With the comments that made it to the article page you'd think that if Tim Cook rolled up in front of their house on the 24th and personally hand delivered their watch, gift-wrapped and with the purchase price fully refunded, they'd be all outraged that the bow on the package was the wrong color.

1st thats my bday! whoop whoop.
2nd then that means i still have hope i will get it early (est. June). I mean i did order mine on the 16th. i ordered the SS white sport band. so i might get it (hopefully) May.
No one has missed a delivery date yet. No one can say it wasn't delivered on time. There is a two week delivery window promised, and it's not even release day yet. No one should be complaining.
Thats exactly what I'm saying...What was the point of me waking up at 2am and ordering in the first batch window if people who slept and ordered it the next day or week get there's before me. So upset right now
Hey guy....I ordered the Bright blue leather loop, 42 mm stamped at 3:13, was already at 4-6 weeks when I ordered. I commented about the leather loop twice over in the thread that's at almost 1,500 comments and only 1 person said they got the blue and ordered the brown...apparently the loop (specifically blue) was not very popular at all, makes you wonder why we aren't getting them early huh?
As far as the band goes, it's coming (in all likelyhood) from a well established tannery. I wouldn't think these bands would be remotely taxing to make, that being said I have toured a tannery not worked in one.
This is the first time I have ever not received an apple product I ordered on launch day and I have had every iPhone since the 4. I am also not a patient person, HOWEVER I would be very happy to have it on the 13th, I would be happy beyond measure to have it sooner!
If Tim Cook showed up at my house, he'd BETTER have the 18 carat Gold Watch with the EXCLUSIVE gold link band...!
By the way, my order of the Space Gray 42mm with Black band has been "preparing for shipment" since yesterday afternoon. I ordered at 3:01am, confirm email at 3:02am. Oh well...
Really? Dropping the ball? They sold an insane amount in the first 2 minutes. This is absolutely an awesome problem for them to have. I'm sorry you're having a fit because you somehow feel entitled to something more than they have to offer. You should consider canceling your order in protest.
Simple, you ordered a model in higher deman than those receiving theirs sooner. This is a simple supply issue. Items in demand are harder to get.

And doesn't the Order say "Delivers: 4/24-5/8" ?? So Apple says you'll get it between then, and you're upset you don't get it on the first day? I got in early, and mine says 4/24-5/8. Will I be upset if I don't get it on Friday? Sure, or at least bummed, but they have until 5/8 to get one to me. Then I'd be very upset if I didn't get one by then....
Apple is incredibly good at getting items to people in the window that they say they will, or before. I wouldn't trust the status of the order over the date that was posted on your receipt.
People get way too caught up in tracking this and getting so worried about the totally unreliable system that shipping tracking is... Regularly I get "item has shipped" the same day an item arrives.. It's not something to base your happiness or your view of apple on

I'm debating on wether or not to take off from work so I can get stuff done around the house and wait for UPS in order to avoid my sketch neighbors stealing stuff off my porch. Thoughts please.

Love how every single person I've spoke to on here about the Pink Sport is in the same boat as me. No charge, no status change. WTF? Did you not make ANY pink sports???? It would have been nice to know that. I ordered at 3:03am EST. Seems plenty soon to me especially being that from what I've heard that band wasn't as popular as others so you should have enough to fulfill orders up to 3:03. I'm really disappointed with the lack of communication and the fact that you are so happy to announce you're getting people their watches who had a delivery window beyond me (and many others).

I hear ya. Canon is notorious for telling you something shipped the day you get it. I love having a $4,000 camera that got repaired being sent to me with only a few hours notification, great to worry about the box sitting on my front porch... ugh...
