The annoyance is in the fact that you think the show should end because YOU don't like it. That's more than a bit selfish and egocentrical. And in that case, you may stick your opinion in a not so sunny place. Also my opinion, so "sorry if that isn't what you wanna hear."

Imagine being so salty over a TV show. Calm down, it's not worth getting your blood pressure to stroke level over I promise.

Season 1 knocked it out of the park, but Season 2 was a letdown compared to the magic of the first one.

This show is still better than any Netflix original. There's so much crap on that platform I'm not surprised they cancel most of the shows.

The show is about people, the people happen to play football.

Important distinction, and the show is so good it can make you overlook the football-specific parts.

If you have Apple TV, watching it is free so you can make up your own mind.

As an avid soccer/football fan, this show made for the general public. The sport plays an insignificant role in the show and to be honest it's not entirely accurate, but it's a comedy anyways, specifically tailored towards Americans who don't know much about soccer.

It can be cringe at times though I still love the show.

I liked the first season but the second season was too much soap opera writing for my taste. It felt like it shifted the focus from what was the focus/center in the first season. Not sure I’m too interested in the third. Maybe read the synopsis in IMDb when the time comes.

That’s a silly distinction. Pretty much all shows are about people. Even in a Pixar show like “Cars”, the cars are really people who happen to look like cars.

It’s a show a football team.

It’s supposed to be a situation comedy, but there’s more “situation” than comedy. You can wait many minutes for the next joke to drop. There are more f-bombs than one liners, unless you think hearing a football player using the f-word for the 100th time is funny. And many of the jokes that do come are in poor taste. “Oh, look, the football players killed a dog. Ha, ha, ha!”

It’s not any worse than a lot of other stuff on television, but not any better, either. Not what I what I hoped Apple would do with its money.
