If they sale the watch For walk in tomorrow then that's it for me. No I'm not going to cancle but I will return it instead.

As much as I am hoping that my watch arrives on Friday I have to accept that is the very beginning date of a wider delivery window. I'm not going to get annoyed or accuse Apple of handling the release badly as they've been quite clear from the beginning that my watch will be here by the 8th May. That's the only guarantee everyone with this delivery window has. Sure I'd love it tomorrow but it's pot luck pretty much, I'll cross my fingers and manage my expectations to only the information at hand.

ordered 42 SS sports Black band. ordered at 12:03 EST. Got this email. I took it as it wont be delivered on 4/24. sucks.

I was hoping all these latest UPS flights from Alaska to Kentucky were carrying the 42 MM SGS watches, but I have yet to see anybody get confirmation of their shipment coming out of Kentucky. Weren't there so many UPS flights apparently going there? I know when my iPhone 6 Plus shipped to me it was out of Louisville, Ketucky the night before release.

80% plus of the watches will come thru Louisville. It's the main UPS hub. They will be sorted tonight and sent out on planes I the early morning hours. UPS does this every night for next day air volume. It doesn't sound right but even volume going from Houston to Dallas overnight flies into Louisville first. Planes come down between around 11pm and 2:30am and volume flies thru all the belts and scanners to the next plane load area. The planes then leave from 2:30a til about 5:30a. Some cities have multiple flights. It then arrives in that city and gets sorted to the delivery trucks to be delivered. Logistics!

My first order (3:01 eastern) for a 42mm SS CB shipped from PA last night.

My second order at 3:10 however triggered the "it's coming between 4/24 and 5/8" email referencing that specific order, making me doubt it'll arrive on Friday or even next week. Only that specific order got the email - the first one that shipped did not.

The watches go through Apple distribution centers first. They are not shipping directly to customers from China. My watch shipped from Apple in PA.

This is why I prefer to wait in line at an Apple Store on launch day then they have to sell the product to you first come first serve. To bad it's not an option fir the watch. I still wonder why they did this so far there excuses don't fly with me

I'm in the same 42mm SS with BSB category. I ordered mine at prelaunch time and have a confirmation email at 3:06 AM ET.

Congrats to those who will be getting it tomorrow. I will be disappointed if mine doesn't come tomorrow but can wait another week or two.

The email is odd. No new information, still processing and CC not charged. So they are not working on my order ;)

Frustrating because Apple encourages people getting new items on launch day and even announced prelaunch at 12:01 AM PST, not 12:00, but exactly 12:01, LOL. And it's not available in stores tomorrow.

Either a lot will happen today or this will have been an Apple launch debacle.

Wake-up Canada! I just got my shipping notification from UPS! Arrives on Friday. sport with white band.

Those people who purchased a watch and immediately sold it on eBay based on the confirmation email must be sweating. Maybe this is Apple's way of ****** with them and we are just collateral damage :D

Of course the eBay prices for those who waited to sell when the watch actually came might see more profit. BTW, I'm keeping mine.

The question of the morning is, do we believe in miracles? A miracle is what it will take if I receive the Apple Watch on Friday 4/24. I remember on 4/10 setting my alarm and waking with excitement to order the watch with really no problems. I ordered the 42mm SS Classic Buckle and thought that would be the style that many wouldn't order, never dreaming that this and a few other styles would be late arrivals. I have preordered phones in the past and have always received the Apple product on launch day, This looks to be the first time this will not happen. Supply and demand? Who knows for sure. At least being in that great window of 4/24-5/8, I hope to have a watch sometime in the near future. I should have known by receiving the email. I'm still in the world of processing and like many of you, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN APPLE! :(

My wife ordered me a 42mm sport with a 3:14 confirmation still nothing guess it was way to late lol

UK orders now despatching. Delivery for 24/4. I have a 38mm ordered at 8:01 and a 42mm ordered at 8:11. Both out for delivery tomorrow. They seem to be working hard to get these out to people.

Apple appears to have sent the email to customers with Apple Watch pre-orders that have yet to be prepared for shipment ahead of Friday's launch.
I ordered two watches a few minutes after the preorder opening. Yesterday, the status of my wife's watch finally changed to PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT while I received the afore referenced notification on the second one which remains in PROCESSING status. I feel better now .

My guess is they bumped some of the early orders to make room for the developer watches arriving before the end of this month. They are doing the lottery in a few hours and probably have their count in mind.

Confirmation for tomorrow

I just got confirmation from Apple via email that my 42 mm stainless with Milanese loop will be delivered tomorrow. Signature required of course.

I didn't receive the email...

Ordered a SS 38 white sport band and a SS 38 black sport band. The white had the 4/24--5/8; black had 4-6 weeks. I ordered about 12 minutes after launch.

The white prepared for shipment and charged my card on the 21st. This morning, the black charged to my card -- still says processing, but guessing this is a good sign because they wouldn't charge and not ship, right?

i'm in London and mine's stuck still on preparing for shipment for my SS BSB 38mm, the other (a Sport SG 38mm) hasn't moved from processing.

Which models are yours that are shipping? And do you know when your status changed, roughly? Mine was mid afternoon yesterday. Cheers!

stupid email

I got that same stupid email from apple, assuring me that I'll be disappointed tomorrow.

I made 4 separate orders, in this order:
1. 42mm stainless steel with milanese loop (completed at 2:05a cdt)
2. 42mm sport with green band (completed at 2:05a cdt)
3. 42mm blue sport band (completed at 2:06a cdt)
4. 2m charging cable (completed at 4:14a cdt)

The last order - the charging cable - shipped first and will arrive today.
the last watch order - the sport with green band - shipped next and will arrive 4/24
The first watch order - the stainless steel with milanese loop - got the dear john email from apple and is still processing with 4/24-5/8 window.
Finally, the blue sport band order is still processing with window 4/29 - 5/12.

I would not be upset if I got this message; I would actually be reassured that SOMETHING was going to happen.

I don't understand folks who are upset at all; delays are what happens when a product is overwhelmingly successful.

If you're Apple, what do you want more, to piss off the .1% of the people reselling the watches, or the 99.9% of the people that want them on day 1?

When you screw up, it's called a learning experience. Man, I hope they're learning something on this.

For those that wonder where I got those percentages, yes, I made them up.

Did anybody else order a 42 SS Milanese band that received this email? I see a lot of talk about 42 SS with Black Sports Bands still processing...

I did...have to admit I am extremely disappointed. Order 5 watches total (one stainless with loop and 4 sport) and mine is the only one that won't be here ln launch day.

Honestly i cant see how anyone can be annoyed at this email. Any way you look at it, it's a positive. They are either letting you know in advance that you wont be getting yours on the 24th but you will get it in the window that they committed to all along.

Alternatively, they are just reiterating that deliveries are going ahead as scheduled and there is no delay in getting you watch in the above mentioned window.

Lose the sense of self entitlement people, they haven't done anything wrong here.
That is not the point. People who got a 4/24-5/8 window should expect their delivery, it is those that got a 4-6 week window and some a June delivery will get their watch sooner. If Apple were transparent about it in stead of being ambiguous, people would most likely not be upset.

Well wife's sports is right here in Harrisburg PA and on way to Bethlehem PA .... Me I got that DAMN EOD..... Sucks ..... yea APPLE F this one up .... BAD .... But maybe there's hope I'm not far off 03:04:22 ....MAYBE

38mm SS White changed to preparing for despatch on Wednesday AM. Originally down as 24/4 - 8/5 delivery.

42mm SS White changed to preparing for despatch Wednesday PM. Originally down as 4 - 6 weeks delivery.

Both switched to Despatched this morning for delivery 24/4.
