Exactly! I know exactly how you feel...I made an official complaint and asked that the information be forwarded through the ranks so that future launches are handled a little better.

Well at least I hope the people who have managed to get their watches are having fun.

How does one make an official complaint regarding this atrocious "launch"? Just through customer care, or is there a better channel for this?

I spoke to someone through the webchat service and explicitly asked for my feedback to be forwarded on in the form of a complaint. The Rep was very helpful and took all my details and the (cancelled) order number to forward to the customer relations team for review and response.

Outstanding.
Thank you :)

I also spoke to Apple CS, and was told this is normal, since we were told 4/24-5/8 they are still on track and I should not worry or complain. She told me I was very lucky to have that date and there is nothing else, they can or will do.
Any one here got a shipment of 42mm SS with BSB ?

http://ordertracker.me seems to be a summary of macrumors members' statuses as posted. When you filter to our model, only one person in the UK is past "processing", but who knows if that's accurate.

Looks like the 42mm SS back with Link bracelet was not in production prior to ordering according to what everyone the order tracker is reporting.

I also see the SS 38mm with Brown buckle is not shipping prior to May either...

Still awaitin'

Ordered a 38MM SS WSB and a 42MM SS BSB on 4/10, confirmed at 2:05CT. The 38mm is on the truck for delivery today (!). But sadly no progress on the 42mm. Not even a credit card charge. My order for the 38mm was charged on 4/20. I got the EOD too. Frustrating. I figured the BSB would be the fastest one to ship compared to the others...

Also frustrating is that the 38mm modern buckle bands are not even available to order as an accessory. I wonder why that is? That of course is the type my wife actually wants ;)

Boooooo!!

I ended up ordering three watches pre-order night/morning.... one for myself, a friend and the boss (since those two didn't want to get up early! ha!).

Received the EOD email for all three, yet the bosses is being delivered today...

One of the reasons I switched to the the watch (Instead of the sport) was because it would make it to me for my birthday... I guess sad birthday this year... :( :(

Thanks Apple!:apple:

Losing Hope

I'll be curious to see if anyone that is still showing "Processing..." (like me :( ) receives their watch today since that has sometimes happened with other launches in the past.

I'm having serious doubts this time.

Seems extraordinarily unlikely. My card hasn't been charged yet for the watch that still says 'processing' ...

Which one did you order and what time?

42mm SS BSB, email confirmed at 2:06AM CT. The 38mm one that's on the truck was email confirmed at 2:07. Guess I picked wrong, should've gone with a different band, but who would know. I figured they'd have the most of the BSB...

Yeah, I chose the 42mm SS Classic Buckle, email confirmed at 3:16 EST. Don't know what the deal is. 4/24-5/8 delivery, still processing, and no charges whatsoever. So frustrating.

My order was confirmed at 12:03am PST and I still got that stupid email with no change on my order status. Not the best first time Apple preorder experience for me. I'm pissed that others that got in after me are getting it before me. I didn't wait for 12:01am to madly refresh the app to NOT get mine on the first day... oh well. First world problems, right?

I did add a gift message to mine and then removed it shortly after on Wednesday... would that have pushed me back in the queue?

What frustrates me is the non-communication... I don't really mind that it didn't make it on launch day, but give me a better idea than a 2 week window! See, I leave for an international trip on May 1... I would at least like to know if it will be here or not!

And don't give me the 38 different styles crap. There are only a handful of actual watch styles (Aluminum, SS, etc). The rest is just different bands. If you ask me having 38 different SKU's is retarded, simply having a few in stock of each would be a major hit to inventory overheads. Stock a number of each bands and a handful of each case. Someone orders a watch match case to band and out the door.

As a recent convert to all apple products I am very disappointed in this launch... very much has made me question my decision.

I am extremely disappointed as well.. With that said, I want to say to you as you're a new apple convert, launches have NEVER gone this way. They're always organized, simple, and of course chaotic to try and order before anyone else. However, this Apple Watch situation has disappointed me immensely. I use ALL Apple products for work (iPad, iPhone, Macbook Pro etc) and have gotten many people to switch over. This doesn't make me question my decision, but it will if Apple does something like this again.

Apple should issue an apology to customers who ordered on Day 1 and have been given a joke of an estimated delivery date window. I, like many of you, woke up in the middle of the night to order a product we (in the U.S.) couldn't have even seen for another few hours when in store try-ons started. Now, people with 2-4 week and June estimated delivery dates have their items in hand or on a truck for delivery, and those of us who ordered within minutes of pre-orders starting still have no clue if a truck is coming Monday or two weeks from today. How is it possible that Apple (still) has such horribly inaccurate projections?

I ordered 42mm SS BSB at 3:15EST and have had no change in my status either. Just processing. :( sad panda.

I understand that... I actually purchased my MacBook Pro a little over a year ago now and been involved with a few iPad and iPhone launches through work...

On another note, I thought I would try the chat option just so they have another tally of people contacting them on the issue... Chatted up the gal about my trip and whatnot being real nice. Capped it off with that I was leaving the country next week and was hoping for a more defined delivery than a two week window... She did not budge from quoting the 4/24-5/8 delivery dates. My guess is they have no clue or at least the higher ups are not telling them a damn thing. I have not seen anything about shipment notifications or charges today so I am guessing half the company is out celebrating a successful launch.

Good Luck to my fellow "Processors"..

PS: I am waiting for a 42mm SS ML with e-mail of 02:10 CDT for those interested...

Haha! That's funny you mention that, I've actually bugged them on two separate occasions in the chat. Same experience for me, all they seem to know is that same dang VAGUE AS HECK time frame. They just say "All I can tell you is what you can view from your order status page".

i cri :(

YEP still sucks... No movement at all, starting to think that they wont have it until May, since no card charge or anything... I see people got the 42 SS WSB, but have not seen with a Black one. Find it very strange that that specific model is the one that is delayed the most. The BSB seems to be available in sport and people are getting that... Whats the problem ? And the 2 week window is crazy, thats not like Apple at all. Usually a straight date, not a bizarre 2 weeks gap.

Man, this is disappointing. I still haven't been able to get over the sting of not being able to have it today. What makes it worse is looking at pictures of unboxings online. I know the logical way to think would be "Hey, they never promised that it would be delivered on the 24th...hence the 4/24-5/8 delivery range", but still. That doesn't help :(

Ups dropped off my apple watch at 6pm. I have been wearing it but I haven't really had chance to mess with it much

42mm SG Sport with Black Band - confirmed order 12:04am on 4/10

I got this e-mail with everyone else, but my card was just now charged and I got my status changed to preparing for shipment.

Looks like I'll be receiving on Sunday or Monday. There is hope, people!!

P.S. I did e-mail tcook@apple.com that I was disappointed to not be receiving on launch day and that I would have gladly picked another color if I would have known they weren't shipping any of these color configurations for 4/24 arrival. I compared it to standing in line for the iPhone and how I had picked black over white, etc, based on availability. I doubt that the e-mail had anything to do with my status changing, but thought I would share for what it's worth.
