Apple Contacting Some Early Apple Watch Customers: 'We're Working on Your Order'

I've tried one on in a store, so I know they can make them. My order was 3:02am EST for the Space Black and 5/13 was the earliest. But now we have people with 5/13-5/27 orders and even orders that had June delivery estimates shipping out.
I just want a little transparency. Especially considering there are three holds on my credit card for the three watches I ordered. If they didn't expect to ship them soon and have to link the AppleCare to a serial number why are there holds, including one for a watch they don't expect to ship until June (a green band Sport I ordered my girlfriend).
I'd much rather them just come out and say there's a problem than have me waste my time watching my credit card account and the Apple Store order status page 2-3 times a day.
That's what concerned me the most. I have no holds on my CC those cleared like within 24hrs of the original order. I used Apple Pay.
+1 earlier today and just received my UPS tracking number from Apple at 3:29pm PDT with delivery confirmed for tomorrow! Quite the roller coaster ride for us early adopters, courtesy of Apple customer communications. There's still hope for 42mm SG Sport early orders (mine at 12:04am PDT) that we'll receive our watches in the next few days...

Anyone have a Apple Watch (stainless steel) 42mm with black sport band ship? Still nothing on my end. Getting pretty discouraged. Fiance's white band model is delivering tomorrow. Will probably go home and hide it before she can see it. #selfishbrat

I received the same email of death yesterday with Processing status, and just an hour ago I got a new email from Apple that my order is shipped and will arrive tomorrow via UPS (credit card was charged and tracking number was provided in email as well)! Looks like the package is shipped from Harrisburg, PA. I ordered the 42mm Sport SG at 12:03 am PST on the 10th and got an email confirmation at 12:04 am PST, my location is Northern California.

i got mine shipped too! I got a shipping email @ 3:28pst after getting that "we're working on your order" email last night. Weird.

SG 42mm Sport with black band, did get the Email of Death last night, ordered at 2:02 am central time on 4/10.
Got notified my CC was charged at 1:05 pm, then got the Preparing for Shipment notification at 1:30 pm, then got the tracking number from Apple at 5:24 pm, tracking number does not show up with UPS yet (6:17 pm).

I quickly scrolled through the posts and didn't see anyone.
I placed my order for 42MM SS BSB at 12:01 am and mine still says processing (estimated delivery 4/24-5/8). I placed an order for a 42MM Sports SG BSB at 8:00 am and it's still processing as well (estimated delivery 5/13-5/27).
Not the end of the world, but disappointing. I'm going to be irked if see/hear of people going to the store on Friday and walking out with 42MMSS BSB. This has happened to me before when pre-ordering an iPad.

Nice! What time zone are you? I'm wondering what the cut-off time for overnight shipping is...Still holding out hope!
I lost hope... There is no way now. I`ll be lucky if mine get here monday or tuesday. But knowing my luck it will be well in to next week before I even see the shipping notification.

Yet another one of my friends who didn't order until after 9am is now getting hers. And yes same model as mine and same size. This is out of control. I called Apple and the lady had no answer. So once they get them and I can get their paperwork together I will post my and their orders for you guys to see how messed up Apple is on this shipping.

I did have a weird $74.00 charge from Apple last week, that was pending on my checking account, then went away....

I do not want to get everyone's hopes up. However, my order for the iPhone 6 showed "processing" the day before I was suppose to receive it (launch day). I woke up in the morning to find that the status changed to shipped and it was delivered on launch day. I am in California.
I am hoping this happens again. I also ordered 42 SS with BSB at 12:03 PDT 4/10.
