Hopefully a 12 inch MacBook update is coming too.
Is apple serious no re design no faster graphics just a cpu update, shame on apple give us something new like a new design
"Substantially reduce" keyboard problems? Not "eliminate" keyboard problems?
I liked the previous keyboard A LOT. I've been using my MacBook Pro now for 2 years and like it even more. Mind you that I didn't have any malfunctions or anything. If it works this keyboard is MILES ahead of the previous one.Have to agree. Not sure why they’re so resistant to going back to prior kbs that so many liked.
Does this mean no 16 inch model anytime soon?
Again the best laptop in the market killed by the failed butterfly keyboard. Will Apple ever learn? Steve would never allow this disaster to happen.
So the 13" shows a 'new' label, but I only see it maxing out to "2.8GHz quad‑core 8th‑generation Intel Core i7". Does the 8 core only go into the 15"? Anyone know what may have changed to make the 13" display as new?
Why? I bought a 2017 MBP 13’ over a year ago. My 16GB of ram, 1 TB SSD, and my i5-7287U processor is doing just fine, and will be fine for many many years to come. Keyboard is doing just fine too (for my wife and I).
I remember when I bought my 2017 MBP 13’ last year and less than 2 months after they announced new MBPs - I initially had a tinge of regret but looked at the price of the higher CPUs and 32GB of ram for 15’ only and said no thanks.
Happy to see the keyboard getting some attention. Our MBPs are great laptops and we expect to get 5-6 years out of them before upgrading.
Do you think 2018 MacBook Pros that have keyboards failing will be replaced with 2019 keyboards?
Do 2018 MacBook Pro Keyboards also fall under the keyboard repair program?
Secondly, was there any update to the T2 Chip?
Sold separately.Does it come with a keyboard that works?
