I don't mind commercials where they are only half telling you the truth, but the amount of buzz that Apple music lacks within a short period a few days of coming out Apple just wants people to sign up for it is the only reason for the ads.

The only one i know is Phil Colins..

I'm taking "the" music and running like hell :D because i can..... (my little secret i know abut DRM)

Gross they're using that new crappy MacBook in their ads now.

Spotify FTW BTW !

No offense, but I think they used the songs they did because the ad was aimed at soccer moms

does not seem very Apple-like to me. I'm not saying it's bad. But it's loud, a bit hectic, explains a lot and has a lot of text... compared to the typical more simplistic ads that's very different.

This is false advertising. It shows a bug-free and fast-loading Apple Music. Not the version I have with 1-3 seconds loading time when playing new tracks etc. (Even on my 150 Mbit connection....)

As far as a commercial yeah it was ok, but as far as Apple Standards it felt like a Samsung commercial.

Didn't make me want to spend my money like apple usually does.

That's my opinion of course
You know why it may have felt like an Samsung commercial? Because Samsung copies all of Apple's commercials. Henceforth....

It's everyone else experiencing pauses in streaming? I'll be driving, and every other song it will stop in its own for a minute then play again... Then do it again....

Going back to spotify... Shame, because I love apple music, the stream just sucks.
That's definitely your phone carrier that's having problems. I have had ZERO drops in Music while driving and I drive daily and all day for a living. Today I did a two hour drive straight and let Music play on it's own and not a break in the sound.

It's not about obsession. It's a great and fun ad with some very popular and recognizable ladies that are on TV and the music business.

The article's title is "Everyone's obsessed with this Apple Music commercial..." You should write a comment over there if you disagree with it.

Really? I don't see that in the article attached to this thread. I see this;

EDIT: Nevermind. My bad. I see what you were referring to.

"Washington goes a step further and says that Apple's curated playlists are like having a boyfriend creating you a mixtape."

Except of course your boyfriend can't create you a mixtape in Apple Music unless you're using the same computer and the same Apple ID (which is against Apple's terms and conditions). Perhaps it's possible in the family plan? Because the curated playlists are, at best, your creepy neighbour creating you a mixtape.

With that new iPhone commercial I thought Apple was getting back to good commercials again but this one is just terrible. I'll bet there's a separate Beats team doing Apple Music commercials and they're not coming out of Apple's marketing shop.

When I lose cellular signal, my phone stops playing local music.
