Relentless complaining does seem to be the order of the day at the moment. I sometimes think Apple could release a fully autonomous artificially intelligent robot personal assistant and the only thing people would do is to complain about the colour.
No, the color is clear: Rose Gold.
Problem is that Apple takes its sweet time to release whenever they think it's ready.
BUT, they have not released anything with a WOW factor and from the looks of it they won't
for some time to come.
These days, the second somebody has an idea, SAMSUNG or GOOGLE will throw something onto the market,
half baked or not.
Apple Watch, iCar, Apple TV as a game console (Fell asleep at the switch there , HOBBY my a$$)
MBPs, iPhone, iPads and watches are all matured and a given short of some spec updates (even those take too long).
The
what have you done for me lately crowd is disappointed.
As an old fart, I no longer focus on music as being important. I do understand it's part of the young generation.
So, that is where Apple has to go.
With Liotta and Campbell they are trying to keep the door open for older folks.
As an Apple customer since 1984, I have also been more negative lately, because it seems they have abandoned their base products and MBP updates are afterthoughts.
The mini might as well be officially be discontinued if they don't believe in it any more or at least combine it with the Apple TV.
The Pro people are crying and if they are smart, they should have already looked for alternatives.
The Pro will end like the servers they used to sell , i.e. discontinued.
Analyzing Apple services doesn't show a pretty picture either. No equivalent to dropbox. Storage prices too high. Apple Music , not on par with Spotify offerings.
Beats .... beats me. Can't do anything with that and so on.
All my Apple stuff is working really well, occasional upgrade hick ups expected, but they don't have anything that's a
MUST HAVE at the moment.
