Whats not smart? You have 2 vastly different people with vastly different followings who listen to them explain what apple music is. Which is rival to the future of tech industry, everything-as-a-service. Whats not good about the ad?
Nothing in that ad makes me want to rush out and sign up for Music. None of the Music ads explain why I would want to subscribe to Music over Spotify or Google Play etc. I wish Apple would stop with the celebrities in ads for a while.

It caters to the lowest common mental denominator. That's not what apple has EVER been about. It's a brain dead execution of advertising featuring a sloppy spokes person and very tired technology.

I hated these ads so much, I made an account just to post my feelings. This is braindead badvertising. Tim Cook is sleeping at the wheel here.

Dear Apple Inc,

I only say this because I love you.

Your ad campaigns for the last several years are ****. Go back to your roots with the "Think Different", "I'm A Mac", etc campaigns.

These celebrity centered ads make me want to gag and puke.

two very poor ads. Even if I liked Apple Music, those are poor.

Beats acquisition is proving to be a poor move by apple, ads like this summarise the situation.

My guess WWDC will be pushing more music gimmicks on us, while ignoring the fundamental issues for people who have their own music collections.

Ahh, a pet-peeve of mine... people in "serious" cars driving like poop. If you're driving a car that handles really well, why are you crossing lines? Isn't a major point of owning a high performance car its ability to hold line? Stay in the lane! Oh, he's probably showing her track information on his iPhone. That's why they included her veering.

Sigh. If you don't get the ad, know the DJ dude or the songs don't get all annoyed. It's just not aimed at you.

Back to your Bens Fold Five Compilation. Move along nothing to see here.

I'm hoping with Trent Reznor more involved we won't get the gimmicks but as long as Eddy Cue and Jimmy Iovine are ultimately driving the show all bets are off. I just hope to god we don't get another 40 minute demo of a music app with an unnecessary celebrity cameo and horrible dad dancing from Eddy Cue.

Waaaaaah Waaaaaahhh Wahhhhhh. Shall I pick up your toys and put your bib on diddums.

At the end, did they actually try to copy a shot from this amazing scene. There the fun suddenly stops and things become serious.

Relentless complaining does seem to be the order of the day at the moment. I sometimes think Apple could release a fully autonomous artificially intelligent robot personal assistant and the only thing people would do is to complain about the colour.

No, the color is clear: Rose Gold.

Problem is that Apple takes its sweet time to release whenever they think it's ready.

BUT, they have not released anything with a WOW factor and from the looks of it they won't
for some time to come.

These days, the second somebody has an idea, SAMSUNG or GOOGLE will throw something onto the market, half baked or not.

Apple Watch, iCar, Apple TV as a game console (Fell asleep at the switch there , HOBBY my a$$)

MBPs, iPhone, iPads and watches are all matured and a given short of some spec updates (even those take too long).

The what have you done for me lately crowd is disappointed.

As an old fart, I no longer focus on music as being important. I do understand it's part of the young generation. So, that is where Apple has to go.

With Liotta and Campbell they are trying to keep the door open for older folks.

As an Apple customer since 1984, I have also been more negative lately, because it seems they have abandoned their base products and MBP updates are afterthoughts.
The mini might as well be officially be discontinued if they don't believe in it any more or at least combine it with the Apple TV.

The Pro people are crying and if they are smart, they should have already looked for alternatives. The Pro will end like the servers they used to sell , i.e. discontinued.

Analyzing Apple services doesn't show a pretty picture either. No equivalent to dropbox. Storage prices too high. Apple Music , not on par with Spotify offerings.
Beats .... beats me. Can't do anything with that and so on.

All my Apple stuff is working really well, occasional upgrade hick ups expected, but they don't have anything that's a MUST HAVE at the moment.

Eddie cue has to go. And completely agree with you in regards to that last demo.
