These remind me of Apple's original Bluetooth headset for the original iPhone - I have one lol but this looks cool.

Wonder how much they'll cost? And with dual microphones, are they noise cancelling?

My only problem with these is if they retain the shaped of the EarPods exactly. Mine have a tendency to fall out of one ear due to it's shape - it's annoying but it's okay since the other EarPod will keep them from falling out entirely, and I can just plop the failen one back in.

If it happens here I can see it not going so well...

I saw they are priced at 149!!

I never use the built in speakers.
I agree, I raised a brow when Phil explained that we apparently use the speakers for listening to music, watching films, making phone calls. I honestly hate people who do that. So annoying.

Anyway, 160 bucks is a bit much, especially as I still think the whole setup with the case and two separate speakers is kind of awkward. It's essentially three things to charge and three things that you can potentially lose. Cables look super convenient compared to those.

5 hours is useless, I work 9 hours and need 12 hours per day...... I'd rather the 3.5mm jack, I don't need stereo speakers built into the phone, I don't even need one speaker, they're small and crap and I only ever have my phone in vibrate... I never use the built in speakers.

Well, it looks like you might prefer wired speakers...which will work with the new iPhone. Most people will find the stereo speakers very useful.

I wonder how quickly they will recharge to 100% in that case?

that's key...could i drop them in the case when i walk to the office break room and then come back and have another half-hour of play time with just 5 minutes charge?

The most exciting announcement for me from this keynote. The AirPods look pretty cool, only thing I don't like about them is that they don't seem suitable for exercising ;(

Wondering about the charging time myself but the will most likely be a purchase along with the phone. I'm really interested with the changing devices easily.

Well, the current ones fall out of my ear... but at least they have a wire... My solution: a little foam around it...
But since these new ones 'sense your ear' I guesss thats out of the question...
So, so... are these headphones for me.

I definitely use the built-in speakers around the house. In public, it would be rude but when I'm alone they're very convenient for spoken audio.

Lol you won't lose the headphones if you just put them in the case that comes with them. Also, you don't have to worry about charging them except maybe every night because the case lasts 24 hours. For me personally, I much rather have to plug in something once a day rather than every time I want to use them.

Bull ****.

First of all: it is crappy design. Look at that two thing sticks out.

Second: If I go to a field trip, 5 hours play back is too short. I still remember people mocking Samsung when they released their Bluetooth headphone.

I was thinking about the same for travelling, 5 hours is too short.

Doesn't samsung's version have a 2hour battery life?

I don't get why they continue to produce earbuds/pods that are smooth plastic. They fall out of my ears immediately. Do they not realize that most companies use rubber or nylon covers to allow them to stay seated in the ear, and to block out other sounds. Silly to spend that money on technology and kill it with this design. This is where Jony Ives is way off base on his design. Sure they look cool, but not functional

I wish the wireless AirPods would come with the iPhone 7! That said, they still look great; maybe will be a bit weird getting used to the design, but looks like it'll be great!

I'm curious about the price; and I guess they will be compatible with iPhone 6?

Guess again!! They're not!! Typical...
